Prayers for our friend and her mother.Please keep them close to your hearts.

Last week, on the 10 dec my mom and i were in a serious car

accident while we were out of town. We finally felt up to traveling by

plane to get home wed this week. Yesterday we saw our private dr. We

both are on strong pain meds. We have similar injuries. Both of us

have fractured sternums, fracured ribs on the right side of the rib

cage, a great amount of tearing of all the costal cartilage, bruising

to the chest wall and intercostal muscles, with numerous hematoma's in

the same areas. We are at high risk for developing pneumothorax,

pneumonia, and a type of emphysema that is usually permant. To make

matters more complicated, I have asthma, and a rare type of arthritis

that is throughout my entire ribcage, chest wall.
