Guest guest
Hi, Deborah, welcome, I have ten or more years with hairy cell leukemia, a brother to lymphocytic, my lymphocytes are worthless and do not help me fight off infection. Same with lymphocytic. The only difference is my lympho's have tiny hairs on the outside. thats the only difference. Both are chronic, meaning you own them for life. LDN has been god sent to me, I used human growth hormone for about eight years, $$$ big dollars, five hundred a month down to thirty a month, so as to have an immune system, now for the last two years used LDN, which works much better. It increases my blood products about fifty percent across the board, from red blood cells to plateletts. It unlike HGH causes my neutrophils to increase ten fold. Neutrophils work very similiar to lymphocytes, in they fight off infection. Here's what works for me, 4.5mgs LDN nightly, 600mgs ALA, daily, 1600 mgs Betaine HCL, enzymes, probiotics, I use Kefir I made myself. Take w/ each meal for digestive aid and to keep yeast away, as LDN seems to encourage yeast growth. Also few carbs and no sugars. Apparently betaine, enzymes, kefir help me digest my food well, as I have zero cravings, and I am slim and muscled. I had a CBC w/ diffs ran the first of the month. Took LDN for thirty days and had another CBC ran. White blood cells increased from twenty five hundred to four thousand, red blood cells went up, hemo count went up, plateletts increased, and neuts went way up. My leukemic count goes from one thousand to five thousand via interleukin II receptor tests. But mostly stay about three thousand. When it gets over ten thousand, chemo's are offered. 2cda is what they used on me. Ugly stuff, but not bad looking when you are facing death. W/ LDN I have zero leukemic symptoms, no night sweats, ie hot flashes, no infections, no spleen problems, no digestive issues. I am much healthier than most. I totally believe LDN will keep me safe from chemo forever. I stopped LDN for a month, and I crashed, so started again. No chance that is something other than LDN, that is helping. What's a mother to do, I want to spread the word about LDN, but then some drug company may catch on, and cause the price of naltrexone to go through the rood, to where not many could afford it. I took neupogen, a twenty five hundred dollar a week habit for some time. Unlike LDN, neupogen, a shot, flakes out after about a year, then nothing. Also I want to mention, for whatever reason my hormones, testosterone and estrogen got reversed, either by leukemia or possibly chemo. These days I must manage them myself. So I use injectable T, HCG and arimidex to control estrogen. A good deal for me, as with a normal hormone level my body produces an adequate supply of it's own growth hormone. Anything else I may help you with, please email at dhallgar@... stay vertical, david a lubbock tx [low dose naltrexone] ldn and lymphocytic leukemia Please...does anyone have experience or knowledge for treatment of LDN with lymphocytic leukemia? thanks so much
