Guest guest
Hello raggedy11@..., In reference to your comment: A little late here responding Kim. I haven't had enough experience with Lyme to give you answers/advice but one thing in your message did pop out at me. You said you are off of all sugar right now. Are you using any products with NutraSweet? Some people have a lot of allergic reactions to NutraSweet (Equal). The symptoms are really varied too. I have heard of NutraSweet triggering migraines (I am diabetic myself and have been on other lists discussing NutraSweet) If you are using NutraSweet, you might want to consider switching to Splenda which is more like sugar in chemical structure. **********NOOOOOOOOOOooooooo.....get off of all chemical sweetners....Splenda will trash your thymus....I will send you some reports from doctors who have done research in chemical sweeteners.....Aspartame, Splenda, NutraSweet, Equal, ALL of them will also trash your livers.... My niece had migraines that they thought were related to NutraSweet but it turned out it was caramel coloring and as long as she stuck to the " non-brown " diet sodas she was okay. **********NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOo go to _www.dorway.com_ (http://www.dorway.com) or _www.www.wnho.net_ (http://www.www.wnho.net) and read. Tell them to join the support group _WNHO-Aspartame-Information-subscribe _ (mailto:WNHO-Aspartame-Information-subscribe ) I have also had friends go off sugar and replace it with honey and had problems because of the honey. Those sensitive to bee stings sometimes have problems with honey and also those with problems with pollens and grasses. **********Most of the problems with honey is it is not raw organic UN-HEATED honey...this type of honey will help those that are sensitive to become less sensitive. I use to have to keep shots in fridge for my daughter as she was highly allergic to bee stings. I put her on raw organic unheated honey and she doesn't react is a death grip when she gets stung. She eats a teaspoon, 3 times daily for the last 20 years.....We have some of the best raw organic unheated honey here in ARizona...it comes from all over the state at different times of year. Here in my area of NJ, everyone is having problems with allergies within the last week. I don't know if it is the ragweed or what. I teach school and have gone through boxes and boxes of tissues in just this past week alone. *********MOLD and pesticides are the worse problems in ALL schools US wide....for those who suffer from Lyme and who are exposed to MOLD and pesticides daily will react with horrific allergy symptoms.... *********If you are prone to allergies, then I would suggest buying an Austin Air purifier. I researched these for months and finally my environmental specialists said that the Austin Air is the best on the market.....it is the only one that gets rid of MOLD. One of my alternative docs has 5 in his office and 3 in his home. Another one of my doctors just got one (she has allergy problems) and called to tell me that the first night she slept great. I also have a teacher friend, who bought one for her room at school....they are not cheap $450.oo but trust me worth every penny. *********I will send you information from doctors on the hazards of chemical sweeteners. These comments from Dr. Bowen are in answer to questions from Heming, Mission Possible Arizona: Aspartame is noted to impair immunologic competence as is its breakdown product methanol or methyl alcohol. Many people have reported all sorts of viral recurrences because of aspartame. A present epidemic of steato hepatitis which we use to call fatty degeneration of the liver and ensuing cirrhosis of the liver is in full blown existence because young people are drinking aspartame which damages the mitrochondria of the liver, and the mitrochondrial DNA. The only hope for some kind of relief is the various herbal and nutritional products that can help the damaged mitrochondrial function to compensate. Moreover aspartame has engendered a massive epidemic of chemical hypersensitivity. This means that many other chemicals will have a highly toxic effect on the liver beyond what they usually would and the exposure to any number of chemicals could reactivate the virus. So Aspartame as in the Persian Gulf Syndrome is known to make the effects of other toxins many times greater. This would also likely apply to many other drugs commonly used to treat hepatitis, as well as the preservatives in them. Bowen, M.D. Note from i: Hepatitis and Cirrhosis of the liver with regard to aspartame is discussed in detail in Dr. H. J. new medical text: Aspartame Disease: The Ignored Epidemic, www.sunsentpress.com or `1 800 814 - 9800. Guest guest
Thanks for all of the helpful info. Do you have a suggestion for where to get the Austin air purifier? Believe me, I just put out a lot last year for the Oreck because I wanted something I didn't have to spend a lot of time " maintaining " each day. Molds are definitely bad in this area (not even talking about people with Lyme) and most prescription allergy meds don't do a thing for mold allergies.
