Hi Chelsea,

Igenex doesn't file insurance, but gives you the necessary information to

send to your insurance company. I put it on my charge card, send the info

to my ins co and they paid 80%, then I paid my charge card.

They should not cancel your insurance....it is a scare tactic. Call your

states insurance regulator or attorney general and ask what to do if this

happens. Don't let that doctor scare you. I follow thru with everything if

I feel I am right.

Once you are diagnosed with Lyme you will never qualify for life

insurance unless you find a company that allows no medical tests/questions, but

these policies usually have a two year period that will not pay out if anything

happens to the insurer in the first two years. You also can never allow a lapse

in coverage from one group to another group health insurance, if you do then

they apply the pre-existence exclusion. I believe you have 30, maybe 45 days

before this happens. Call your state insurance dept for that answer. If you try

to get private health insurance you will be denied. If I had to do it over again

I would have paid everything in cash.
