Guest guest
Tawny, I wish I was there to give you a very gentle hug. Please know that you are loved and cared for by so many in this room. Remember that the Bible says " it came to pass, " not " it came to stay " , that weeping endures for a night, but joy comes in the morning. Hang in there, sweetie. Have you called your doc? The holidays are a handful for healthy folks, much less us " gimps. " I will be praying for you, my sweet friend. Remember that you have someone in Texas praying for you RIGHT NOW. Guest guest
Jane, I am just waiting it out until my appointment. The medicare kicks in January, so will deal with it then. I called the office a few weeks ago, and because I owed $30 they wouldn't re-fill my meds, nothing until it was paid, which it was in the mail. They told me real quick, no appointments made, not refills, no nothing. Which I thought was kind of harsh, but maybe that is what they need to do. On top of everything I fell on my bad leg last night, but nothing is broke, thank God for that. Just a little banged up, but I'm still going, lol I have been getting dizzy for the last couple of weeks, not sure if it's from the MTX, one of it's side effects. I also have had a headache all day, I just feel really bad, fatique, I know a lot could be the MTX. Also, having pain in my lung once again. What doesn't hurt me right now, that would be a whole lot easier:) I just want to thank you for the lovely words. They make me stop and realize that I have to be strong, and I will get through this. Thanks so much RA sis, Tawny > > > > Please, everyone keep me in prayer. Guest guest
Tawny, Sorry so long to reply! Things have been insane at work, more so than usual. And my computer wound up in my daughter's bedroom at home so my access has been limited somewhat- she doesn't wake up at 3 a.m. like we do! ...You know, I had problems with vertigo, falling over, etc. with MTX. Sort of like 4 margaritas only not getting to dance on tables or anything. <grin> Just kiddin,Thank God, my margarita days are WAY behind me, and dancing on tables even farther! I hope you had a wonderful, blessed Christmas. I got to see all my kids and grandkids so that's the most important thing of all. I will be praying for peace and comfort for you. I will be doing a Bible study tonight for my # 3 daughter's bunch, high school (girl)seniors. Already have the cookies baked! I hope your " achies " are better, and that your weather has warmed up. I looked like the Michelin man by the time I got to work on Thursday, I had on a coat, sweater, hat, scarf, gloves, and a rice sock for heat! it was 18 degrees where I lived. Guest guest
Hi Jane,....I can just imagine you walking into work with all that garb on,lol We got to stay warm though, that is all that matters. That is so great you got to see all your grandkids, I know that made everything so much better. Our Christmas went alright, just glad it's all over though, too much work. I'm just taking each day the best I can, and it makes it a little easier. That's all we can do. I am ready for the new year to bring us great days. Guest guest
Meredith, I am so sorry for you and your children. This kind of thing makes me so angry, man or woman, I just never understood what kind of person would destroy their family in that way. I will pray for you and the kids. Remember to take care of yourself and try to get enough rest. Again, I am so truly sorry. Dianne

Guest guest
Meredith, I am so sorry to hear this, something similar happened to my husband's brother a few years ago, wondered then how a parent could do this to their kids (his were 2, 12, and 14 at the time). I've seen first hand how this can affect them, you all will be in my prayers. Hang in there, and work on stress reduction, you sure don't need this! I wish I could say it will be better soon, but it takes a lot of time, and the stress will get worse while you get all the legalities straightened out. Hope he cooperates and makes it easy for you! Lean on your friends and your faith, and you'll make it through. Guest guest
(((Meredith))) I am very sorry what your going through. Can I say, " what a jerk your hubby is. " I don't understand why spouse's have to do this. It really upsets me so much. They really believe their health is going to last forever, ha-ha! You don't need the crap, and you will be fine. It's a shock for you now, and when you finally cry, and get it all out of your system, then you will pick yourself up, and dust yourself off, and you will be strong. If you can fight the RA, and live every day with PAIN, you can deal with this. You need to talk with an attorney, if you can't afford one, contact Legal Aid, they should represent you at no charge. If your not working, there are some benefits at your state office. You will get child support, and possibly spouse support if your not able to work. I know this is devastating for your children, just talk with them, and give them all the love you can right now. I will keep you, and the family in my prayers, if you need to chat, email me anytime, hugs Tawny > > Hi Everyone, > > Six days ago, my husband of 11 years told me he was having an affair. > He has decided to leave me and our three children (ages 9, 7, 5). > Needless to say, I am under a lot of stress and pain. Guest guest
Meredith, My prayers are with you. I have been a single parent for 18 years, my son is now 20 and in his second year of college. It is just us two living together. And I am greatful for all he does for me. Having RA is not easy, nor is it easy for spouses or mates to understand the pain and physical limitations one can have. Educate not just your self on RA but your family as well, let them know, and teach them about your disease, so they can be more understanding and helpful to you. It's a battle if they don't understand how it can effect you. And for what its worth, I got a dog, its great company, and gets me out walking daily. Exercise, rest and eat healthy, and keep praying. Things will get better. Jean <Matsumura_Clan@...> wrote: Meredith, That's terrible news. I'm so sorry. You and your children have my prayers.
