Hi, If you email me privately, I can send you a bunch

of research articles on Bartonella.

Research shows there are many strains of this bacteria

but only a handful have been identified.

Bartonella quintana is emerging as a big problem with

homeless populations in big cities.

Bartonella henselae has been found in about 40% or

domestic cats in two major metropolitan areas, and can

be transmitted by fleas and cat scratches. It has

also been found in over 35% of ticks in a New Jersey

study and another California study.

You can find some samples of Bartonella rashes at

www.LymeDiseaseAssociaton.org. You can also go to

www.PublicHealthAlert.org and look in the archives for

the August '07 issue for an article on Bartonella by

Dr. Schaller. Dr. Schaller has written a book

about Bartonella which will be out shortly.

You can also find good information about Bartonella

and other tick-borne disease in the Lyme Times, a

national journal. You can sign up to receive that

journal at www.LymeTimes.org. If you do sign up,

please contact me privately, and I will send you some

back issues dealing with Bartonella.

I have spoken with many hundreds of people with this

infection and am hearing that it can cause serious

illness and be difficult to treat.

Dear Marisa,

Thank you for e-mailing me. I would love to receive some

research articles on Bartonella. A stain of my daughters blood came

back with the pathogen stated as bartonella. there were little black

dots outside of the red blood cells from Fry Labs. Another well-

known lab for Lymes told me that you can't go by stains or smears of

the blood because they could be platelets or just dirty slides. Now

I don't know what to believe. From IgenX she showed exposure to

babesia but individual tests for babesia showed negative. It's all

confusing. Do you have it or not. My girl got a rash that looked

liked stretch marks all over her bottom about a year and a half ago.

Our lyme literate doctor said that is classic sign for Bartonella so

when the Stain came back listed as Bartonella he put her on IV.

antibiotics. She is doing so much worse. Her vertigo will not

stop. The local doctor said that it was from laying on her bottom

all the time or from cortisol that they put her on to see if she had

adrenal exhaustion and to give the adrenals a break. that didn't

work. We got her chelated from heavy metals and ever since she

literally can't get out of bed. She is 22 and lhas been in bed for 2

years. the most debilltating systom is the non-stop vertigo.

1- Do you have any idea if there is a lyme doctor that is hooked

into a hospital anywhere? We may have to get a medical transport but

we need to have a facility to take her to?

2- What has helped you? Do you use the rife machine?

Thank you

Hi Lara,

If you could get the kit from them and mail it soon enough for them

I'm sure it wouldn't matter where the sample came from. Here is

their number. They are in sdale, Arizona. 1-480-991-4555. The

stain that was ordered for us was about $300.
