Wynn Avocette suffered migraines and body aches. Meade's 4-year-old daughter had constipation and threw temper tantrums. All three tested negative for celiac disease, a severe intolerance to gluten, a protein found in wheat and other grains. But after their doctors ruled out other causes, all three adults did their own research and cut gluten—and saw the symptoms subside. ********************************************************************************* “No one can listen to your body for you. Guest guest
How long does it take to see if symptoms are going to subside after cutting gluten out of one's diet? I went gluten-free for 2-3 wks, but did not see any improvement. Thanks, Annette
Guest guest
It takes 6 months to clear ones system of gluten....and that's only if you are truly gluten free. Gluten is in ALL grains, not just wheat, barley, rye & oats (contamination) as is often reported. You may begin to see incremental improvements in 2-4 weeks. Only true gluten test in genetic testing. Blood tests, etc are worthless. Bill ---- Nplus9010@... wrote: ============= How long does it take to see if symptoms are going to subside after cutting gluten out of one's diet?
