Well nagy linda, most docks put folks on LDN if they have celiacs or chrons, you might think twice about stopping.

As we age above forty, our stomach stops producing suffecient quanities of hydrocholic acid, HCL. The amount of HCL our stomach produces tells the pancreas how many digestive enzymes to release to digest the food, so it is the snowball rolling down the hillside, getting bigger as it rolls, If undigested food passes from our stomach into our intestines, yeast, foriegn bacteria and toxins build up. Our immune system thinks we are being invaded, and attacks our intestines, ie chrons or IBS, depending on where the immune system attacks.

I think it prudent for you to begin taking Betaine HCL with your meals to help you digest the food you consume. Also niacin is helpful, as is B6 taken before a meal to encourage acid production. Also it is said, the juice from half a lemon is helpful to encourage acid production. Also a good probiotic and digestive enzymes are important for digestion. A lack of acid causes anema, poor iron absortion, ostoperiosis from lack of calcium from poor digestion. Your body needs calcium to keep it alkaline and not acidic.

I have come to believe that the digestive tract and its function may be the single most important body component determining health and disease. Maintaining normal digestion, assimilation, and elimination is a necessity, and when these functions are faulty, we may not be aware that these dysfunctions are contributing to so many other problems.

If you have digestive issues, more than likely your innards are full of yeast/candida, go easy on carbs, especially simple carbs, white bread is really bad stuff. Work with an atkins or south sea diet. Betaine HCL is anti yeast, as is oil of oregano, garlic.

I am hoping when you get your innards healthy, many other problems will resolve themselves. But I would encourage you to stay with LDN

[low dose naltrexone] Is LDN helpful in neuropathic pain

I was taking 4.5mg of LDN for almost a year. I started having issues that led doctor to think I had celiac's, I am still testing for this. I have also been told that I have neropathic and somatic pain, does LDN help with this at all? My doctor ook me off the LDN when i started having symtoms of celiac's or chron's.

There is no point in testing celiac because you can be

intolerant for gluten.the best is to go 3 months gluten free and to see if you

feel beter.

Ldn does not help neurophaty.

For neurophaty you need 2x300 good alpha lipoic acid

..metabolic maintenance is good always with B-complex.
