Another success story for LDN. Yesterday I went to see my neurologist and he

agreed with me that LDN has helped with the rigidity in my right arm and

Neck it is completely gone. Still have rigidity in my left arm but not as

severe. My balance has improved also. Only falling about once or two

times a week. Use to fall about once a day. I have been on 4.5 Mg of LDN

since November 2009.

My disease is rare it is Striatonigral Degeneration SDN this is a form

of Multiple Systems Atrophy MSA. It has many of the symptoms of Parkinsons

without the tremors. these are my symptoms Balance, walking with a gait,

speech problem, incontinence, rigidity, choking and difficulty swallowing,

Depression. Raynauld Disease also accompanies this.

I am able to walk with assistance of my walker. Cook all of our meals

and clean my home do all of the grocery shopping.. My Husband does the

laundry. I am not allowed to drive because of my balance issues.Which i

hate because i Have to depend on others to take me places. Losing my

independence is the most difficult thing for me to accept.

I do keep very active while taking care of my 4 year old grandson and

his twin bother and sister 11 months old 2 or 3 days a week.I do not

do this alone My husband is with me.

I know that keeping active does help people with all of the

Neurological Diseases.

I have a lot of support from my family and friends and I am determined

to keep on fighting this disease.

My computer is my best friend because I can keep in touch with

everyone through the different websites.

Yesterday my neurologist suggested that I get an I pad so that i can

use this to keep me in conversations with everyone.

I am looking for an older I pad on EBAY.

I wanted to explain what is happening with my experience on LDN.
