Guest guest
I've been on an anti-candida diet for awhile. Don't know if its working on the candida yet, but my acne is completely gone....DIET:No sugar, no grains, heavy protein, up good fats like olive oil, avocado, coconut oil, etc., cut out caffeine and dairyDAILY SUPPLEMENTS:Glutamine, Caprylic acid (either pills or from coconut oil), Pro-biotics, Betain HCL with mealsThat will give you a good start on starving the yeast into submission. Or you could take anti-fungals, but if your immune system is suppressed, it will just return without diet changes.Hope that helps,On Mar 13, 2011, at 6:57 PM, computersurvivor wrote: How do you treat yeast candida in the gut? Guest guest
Yep something the pharmacist, dock, nurse will not tell you is that yeast medication are based on you having a good immune system. Script yeast meds are not very affective, and as has mentioned, w/o a good immune system. they only offer temporary relief, until you stop taking them. Niacin, B3 in larger doses, one gram, is a good yeast fighter, according to researchers. david lubbock tx Re: [low dose naltrexone] New to group. What dosage LDN? Guest guest
Check yourself for Candida(yeast overgrowth)... http://preview.tinyurl.com/c9eyzx Tests to check 4 candida yeast by Dr. McCandless http://preview.tinyurl.com/cxp6bx Multiple Sclerosis and Yeast http://www.nutritioninstitute.com/Multiple_Sclerosis.html The Official Candida, Yeast & Thrush Forum http://www.candidayeastthrushforum.com/ Candida Yeast Die Off symptoms http://tinyurl.com/yz29bno Yeast won't go away http://ldn.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=forum & action=display & thread=1919 Q: Dr. JM or anyone- Does LDN cause candida? A: LDN has been noted to aggravate yeast infections and other latent pathogens, viruses, etc. as the immune system is making early adjustments. It is good to have natural yeast remedies on board when LDN is started (grapefruit seed extract, Candex, lauricidin, hi-potency probiotics, etc) to help offset this possibility. (And of course a good dietary regime that does not encourage gut inflammation which is usually the predecessor to pathogen invasion).
