Guest guest
You are an old hand at handling depression, but do be careful, your mind can play tricks on you, I recall out of nowhere, I awoke one morning, and there seemed to be a monkey on my back, he would say things like, why go on, whats the use. Totally out of character for me, so after seven days, I called my dock, he told me I was clinical depressed. Not knowing depression, I went along, he feed me some effexor, and in two days I was full of more joy than I had experienced in some time. That was ten years and a thousand pills ago. I finally discovered I had a digestive problem. Of course Betaine HCL, enzymes and probiotics, kefir changed my health completely. I have tried almost every anti depressant pill available at one time or another, they all seemed to help some, but the bestus was a ivory soap enema, you see, serotonin is made in your small intestines, and if your food is not being digested properly, serotonin production is most likely not going on. Ninety nine percent of all anti depression medication manipulates serotonin in some way to make you feel less depressed. Wellbutrim being different in that it manipulates dopamine and serotonin. And it encourages testosterone production, which mimmics dopamine levels. It will give you some git up and go. I am very good at math, but I did not connect the ivory soap enemas with a digestive problem, you take a couple quarts of body temperature water, drop in a bar of ivory soap, allow to rest there about three minutes, remove and use the soapy water for the enema, which is held in place about ten minutes, with time, you increase the amount of fluid to three quarts, and you get a better internal flush, which seems to really encourage serotonin production, as your flush out a lot of toxins being produced by undigested food, and we know the immune system will attack the intestines if their are toxins being produced in an attempt to fight off, what it perceives as an enemy. Vitamin D3 seems to be lacking in most individuals, it keeps calcium in the body, which in turn alkalines the body, and made it less acidic, cancer seems to thrive in acid enviornments, whereas alkaline bodies have a much higher percentage of oxygen, less yeast/candida, cancer free, and creates an active body that is more alive. LDN will help, but what is your real problem, do you have digestive issues, yeast/candida issues? low vitamine D3? We all wish for the magic bullet, and perhaps there is one for you, but more than likely, being depressed, you are not taking good care of yourself, don't eat right, don't attempt to exercise, maybe not getting out in the sunshine or people to feed off of, everything may work against you, until you get tired of it and do some probbing to discover your real problem. The medical folks I have been around, tend to want to treat symptoms rather than intervening and discover the real problem that deals us hell on cold toast. stay vertical, david in lubbock tx [low dose naltrexone] Fatigue/depression The primary reason I'm trying LDN is extreme fatigue/depression caused by something doctors can't detect. It's a condition that returned 8 months ago but had gone away for several years. I've the same mysterious condition before in 2003 and 2004. They assume it's another autoimmune disease (I have Hashimoto's and RA). But without finding anything on tests they simiply call it chronic fatigue.I have been on LDN (3 mg) for almost 2 weeks. How long before you anyone has seen improvement in fatigue/depression, i.e. to where you don't feel like laying on the couch all day? Depression the past 8 months is no fun!!! Normally I'm upbeat, love life, I'm very active. The past 8 months I've lost passion for everything and just lay around all the time.
