I would check with your doctor. Reason being, are you sure the thyroid

can not grow back over time and reduce your need for replacement

hormones? That would be nice?

Meantime - it seems to me if there is nothing to stimulate then the

foods are still fine - they will not do harm. And if they might

stimulate a new thyroid activity that's good too?

So maybe concentrate on what is important to *you* - like cancer

avoidance, and otherwise eat what you like from the BTD diet.

That would be my feeling about it.

Namaste,

Irene

hello reza...I'd do a search on vitamin B17 if I were you...maybe search out

apple a day and dr. Jack tips...but the B17 is the " big one " for cancer...and

DON " T mix the Bob Beck Protocol with ANY vitamin...

I am new to this group. Does anyone have any

suggestions/recommendations if Bob Beck protocol is found effective

in thyroid cancers?

Also, Is it necessary not to take any herb/vitamin/medication while

on the Bob Beck protocol due to electroporation??

Thanks

Hi Reza. I have no comment on the effectiveness or lack there of, of

the Beck protocol for cancer of any kind. I don't know anyone

personally who has had success so I have no input.

I do know that Far Infrared has been successful with thyroid cancer and

many other cancers. My daughter in law is currently using it for her

lung cancer. So far so good.

I have heard a multitude of success stories with FIR and cancer. I have

heard testimonies regarding brain, lung, thyroid, breast,

stomach, prostate and even melanoma. All were using the Hot House by

HTE. Nothing works first time eveyrtime for everyone, but you might

want to read up on FIR and cancer. It is worth knowing about. It also

works for arthritis and general aches and pains, even some fibromyalgia

people are being helped, which is huge. It helps with detox of

industrial chems and toxic metals, etc. Does alot of good things and

can be used by the whole family.

Other things to consider with any type of cancer.

Dr. Rath formula that keeps it from spreading.

Enzymes that weaken and or digest it such as bromelain

http://www.enzymestuff.com

Probiotics that stimulate the immunes system and helps it kick out cancer

Beta Glucan

Trace minerals http://www.info-archive.com/fulvicmenu.htm

Perhaps Cesium Chloride (need to exercise caution and be well educated

on the subject)

Good diet

Clustered or structured water

I am not a doctor and cannot prescribe and I am not doing so. Just

saying what I would consider if it was me.

God bless your journey toward health.

Blessings

Hi Reza.

Well you can go to http://www.excellentthings.com and click on Hot House

and scroll to the bottom of that page and click on the more information

link and it will lead to 12 pages of information. That is a good place

to start. And just doing a websearch for Far Infrared will lead to some

great information.

Here is one of my favorite cancer and far infrared stories. I heard

this on an interview of one doctor interviewing another doctor. One of

them shared about a man they knew who had terminal inoperable prostate

cancer. 6 large prostate tumors. One of his docs knew about FIR for

cancer and recommended that he get a Hot House (brand name of a far

infrared dome) He got one and slept under it 6-8 hrs a night. He

started to lose alot of weight, like 35 pounds or so in 6-8 weeks as I

recall. This concerned him as he knew that this was a sign of advanced

cancer. He expressed his concerns to his doc and his doc ordered

another mri and it showed that 5 of his 6 tumors were completely gone

and the last remaining one was half the size it had been. His doc told

him that the weight loss was because far infrared burns calories about

equal to rowing a boat and told him to increase his calorie intake if he

wanted to slow the weight loss.

This is just one of many stories i have heard of various kinds of

cancers being eliminated in a very short time when people used the Far

Infrared dome. Most also used the chi machine and made dietary changes,

avoiding sugar, etc.

I heard one story of a man using it just for the pain of cancer when he

was in the end stages because FIR relieves that type of pain. But not

only did it stop the pain it turned the cancer around and he lived.

As I have said so many times before, nothing works first time everytime

for everyone, but this has helped so many people that if it was me I

would be doing it. And that is why my daughter in law is using it. She

is also taking some supplements and eating alot of raw organic food and

avoiding unhealthy food. And being out in the sun as often as possible

and laughing and deep breathing, etc.

Blessings

Hello

I'm new to the group - is there anyone out there who is treating/has treated themselves for papillary thyroid cancer? Has there been any success? I'm currently doing this and wondered what else I could read/whether I'm taking enough lugols etc. etc.

Thanks in advance

,

You might consider joining the FlaxseedOil2 Group:

FlaxSeedOil2/ It's members, by in large,

are cancer patients, who are following Dr. Johanna Budwig's cancer protocol. if

you aren't familiar with Budwig's work, I think you might find it of interest.

Dr. Budwig had a 90% success rate in treating cancer.

Anyway, I just did a search at the FlaxseedOil2 group on 'thyroid cancer' and

came up with 486 posts. And I'm sure you'll also eventually get feedback from

members on the iodine group.

I tried that protocol and it did nothing for my thyroid cancer. Only high doses of iodine (125 mgs), vit c, selenium, magnesium, unrefined salt, detoxing, detoxing, detoxing made the difference after 3 failed RAI's. Thyroid cancers in general are a result of toxic halides, low nutrients and low iodine.

How much of the other minerals/supplements?

Thanks

This is what I did (Readers Digest version - you can read my full blog on www.naturalthyroidchoices.com )

50 mgs Iodoral, increased to 75 mgs increased to 100 mgs increased to 125 mgs (over 4 yrs time)

400 mcg Selenium

400 mgs Magnesium (then added Magnesium Oil - sprayed all over my body daily and baths in Epsom / Dead sea Salts)

3,000 - 5,000 mgs Vit C

25,000 iU Vit A (Kroeger Herbs Sunny A)

28 day liver detox program using Metagenics Ultra Clear Plus

Removed all 11 amalgam fillings and a root canal tooth (safely) and chelated for 9 mos using Heavy Detox (dmsa), Chlorella, Cilantro and Mercurius Viv (mercury homeopathy).

I continually am working on detoxing with food, IR saunas, liver detoxing, baths, coffee enemas and more.

It took me 4 years to get from a cancer marker of 24 down to 4 but I didn't get sick overnight either. I fought thyroid cancer for 6 years allopathically through a thyroidectomy and 3 RAI's that all failed. My endo suggested external beam radiation. I ran.

I have been a member of the FO/CC group for

over five years and I have seen many success stories. Many. There are thyroid cancer success

stories, I believe. It can and does

work for many other types of cancers.

Remember, though, that there are no magic bullets. What works for one may or may not work

for someone else. However, I highly

recommend the BP and it is foundational for those that I see for cancer

nutritional balancing. Nutrition is

as important as effective supplementation and detoxification. Dr. Budwig was a woman before her time

and when the protocol is studied and researched one will find that her

recommendations are sound and much more scientific than conventional medicine. I have been researching alternative

cancer protocols for a long time and this is one that can be very effective.

I do believe that for most, some additional

supplements need to be added. But

that is something that the individual must decide for themselves as Dr. Budwig

was not a fan of supplementation. In fact, as far as I am concerned iodine

therapy can certainly be added to the BP without a concern.

I was told by someone else that on the Dr. Oz show, he

mentioned that the fastest growing cancer in women was thyroid cancer and that

the increase could possibly be related to the use of dental x-rays and

mammograms. He demonstrated that on

the apron the dentist puts on you for your dental x-rays there is a little flap

that can be lifted up and wrapped around your neck. Many dentists don’t bother using

it. There is something called “thyroid

guard” for use during mammograms.

This lady had her yearly mammogram and felt a little silly but asked

about the guard and sure enough, the technician had one in a drawer. When asked why it wasn’t routinely

used the technician said “I don’t know. You have to ask for it.” If this hadn’t been on the show,

who would know to ask for it??? Discuss with your

dentist/doctor before having an x-ray…….

Hi there, I post every once in a while in this group and have got a load

of info from you. Yesterday I heard that a dear friend of my daughter has thyroid cancer that had spread to her adrenals. She was told it is usually a slow growing cancer and went to Europe for a vacation. It's when she got back that she got the news. I know she has alternatives other than surgery but would love to here back from people here that have gone through it and have recovered or at least know someone who has. Thanks in advance.

Hi, -

Thyroid cancer doesn't usually spread to adrenals. Hopefully, your friend will be able to start on the iodine protocol.

, owner of this list, conquered thyca when it looked bleak in her doctor's yes. You can read her e how she did it:

I believe it's usually thyroid, to lungs, then bones. I had mets to lungs in 1982.

My GYN found my first thyca by palpation. I had a tota thyroidectomy in 1965. My endo suspected thyca 17 years later when my calcium level shot to 18.4 (normal range is 8.5-10.4). I have hypoparathyroisism. At that time, I was given bovine TSH to stimulate my TSH so I could have a thyroid scan and I was given 176 mCi of RAI, RadioActiveIodine.

That would make more sense. I have heard that it spreads to the following:

Brain

Lungs

Liver

Colon

But never adrenals. That's just odd to me. But anything is possible I guess. I wonder how they dx'ed it as thyca in adrenals?

Hi ,

My case was pretty cut and dry. I can't say I had any " signs " either before the first thyca or the regrowth. In fact, I felt so well, I almost refused treatment in 1982. My Tg has always been negative with no TgAb. I was fortunate to have thyca back when we were not scanned sooner than a year apart so my one and only RAI treatment worked.

Have you had a PET scan to know where your thyca is? If it is still in nodes, there is something called alcohol ablation, but I'm not versed in it, I've only heard about it. I think that if you do the iodine protcol, and maybe at higher amounts, you can conquer this, as has . I'm taking higher amounts for breast cancer. Thyroid and breasts demand the most iodine if I remember right.

My best advice is to you to go with 's recommendations. was RAI resistant and has overcome thyca with the iodine protocol, supporting nutrients and clean diet.

Hope this helps,

Could use your input on the latest with my 20 yr old daughter. Background: she was diagnosed Hypo in Summer 2010, Hashimoto's fall 2010, December 2010 found to have a malignant nodule on left side of isthmus onto left lobe of thyroid. In Dec 2010 went gluten free and on anti-fungal diet. TPO antibodies went from 332 to 91 over several months. In March 2011 started supplements and in May started iodine (up to 62.5 mg) and LDN.

Her May ultrasound showed that the nodule grew and became vascular. She had thyroid surgery on 7/5, removing the 1.2 cm tumor, isthmus, left lobe of thyroid, and 6 lymph nodes – 3 of which had metastatic carcinoma. The pathology report states: margins are uninvolved. Distance of invasive carcinoma from nearest margin: 1 mm. The lymph nodes surprised me because the ultrasound in May showed no suspicious lymphs. Now this. 1 node was found to have metastatic papillary carcinoma, 1 with psammatous calcifications – no definite tumor identified. Nothing on the 3rd nodule. I e-mailed the surgeon to ask if any micro nodules were found in the left lobe. My thinking is if there was nothing in the left lobe then why jump to the conclusion that it is in the right lobe. Again, the lymph nodes threw us.

The surgeon had recommended standard procedure of removing the entire thyroid but we requested partial. After surgery the surgeon pressed us to see an endo to discuss taking out the entire thyroid and RAI.(all because of the 3 lymphs) We have gone through 5 endos already. We will try another, I am concerned -most endos will just say take it all out and use RAI. And it is so hard to tell how much of their talk is really valid and how much is just fueled by fear and standard procedure. I really don't know and this is my child's life.

Right before surgery she was on 120 mg ERFA (NDT) and feeling pretty good, not great. Now she is exhausted again, She is on 180 mg of ERFA now.

Any suggestions?

Thanks
