Guest guest
This isn’t just a patient driven campaign to get it approved. Please see below email I received from Dr Jill :- Hi Jayne;Thank you. It certainly was a lot of hard work but I hope our research willhelp some patients with Crohn's disease. I am trying to get a Pharmaceuticalcompany interested to produce naltrexone at the low dose and get it FDAapproved so it will be readily available. Jayne Crocker www.LDNNow.comImportant! Readily available at what cost?? This may be OK in countries that provide health care but in the US where we are not together enough to demand single payer health care the cost will skyrocket. There are many examples of cheap drugs going very expensive once the drugsters get their grubby hands on it. Here is one of them where the drug went from less than $20.00 to $1500.00http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1364747/Preemie-outrage-Cost-makena-drug-prevents-premature-birth-rise-10-1500-KV-Pharmaceuticals.htmlSterlingFrom: jaynelcrocker <jaynelcrocker@...>Subject: RE: [low dose naltrexone] Offical FDA approval of LDNlow dose naltrexone Date: Saturday, April 2, 2011, 2:19 PM This isn’t just a patient driven campaign to get it approved. Guest guest
As Dr Skip keeps reminding people, LDN is a prescription only drug, and those getting it elsewhere without a prescription are taking a risk.  I know Dr Skip won’t provide LDN to anyone without a script, so at least if it is approved, it can become available as front line treatment and Drs will be able to prescribe it without risk of having their licences suspended or being struck off. Hopefully this will help others not having to take those dreadful drugs they are initially prescribed which leaves damage that cannot be repaired. Wouldn’t those in the USA still be able to get their LDN from India as it appears lots do on this forum? Jayne Crocker www.LDNNow.comImportant!
