LDN is approved by the FDA, Only thing is it is not specifically approved for treating specific diseases (like I use it for MS). It can be prescribed by any doctor for any ailment he/she feels comfortable prescribing it.

As I understand things LDN is used for helping with 'addictions'. but I use it for my MS.Larry

Sterling,I agree and generally I am wary of drug scams but I would like to see a real FDA approved study done with LDN.  My PCP almost seemed excited that I was trying LDN.  I've seen Dr's on this board who are still resistent to LDN.  I just wish all doctors were like my PCP " well, it can't hurt you "

RE: Over the last few months I have listen to the disagreements about whether to push for LDN to be FDA approved. The link below shows how wrong things can go when a reasonably priced drug is licensed ( $10.00 $1500.00) Those numbers are not a mistake the industry is just greedy. LDN helps me this kind of increase would price me out of the market how about you? This drug is not LDN but I could see something like this happening to us, beware what you ask for!!!

I would have to agree - I believe that the fight should be focused not on enabling the drug companies to suck more profit from ppl seeking good health, but rather to dispute the status quo that allows the drug companies to dictate who can be healthy and who cannot.
