Guest guest
Fda approval. Have we not beaten this dead horse enough? FDA approval is almost meaningless, look at the number of FDA approved drugs that have been removed from the market. Here are some examples;Alpidem (Ananxyl) Withdrawn because of rare but serious hepatotoxicity.Temafloxacin 1992 Withdrawn in the United States because of allergic reactions and cases of hemolytic anemia, leading to three patient deaths.[1]Trovafloxacin (Trovan) 2001 Withdrawn because of risk of liver failureRosiglitazone (Avandia) Withdrawn in Europe because of increased risk of heart attacks and death. This drug continues to be available in the U.S.There are lots more. FDA approval means that the drug will be much more expensive and therefore FEWER people will receive LDN rather than more.Sterling
Guest guest
I agree with Sterling. FDA approval is meaningless except that it guarantees massive profits for Big Pharma, whose interests are limited solely to the bottom line; which means new drugs; old drugs dragged off the shelf with an added ingredient and then re-named, and most of all, invent a new disease every other week, the only treatment for which is, you guessed it, a prescription drug approved by the FDA or Health Canada. FDA, although 100% funded by taxpayers, answers only to Big Pharma. No one else. And no one in Washington or Ottawa (Health Canada is every bit as useless as the FDA) has the courage to shut both these agencies down and use the money saved to put up giant billboards all across the US and Canada: Ask your Doctor if throwing away all your prescription drugs and never, ever, filling another prescription, is right for you. If he says: “Noâ€; ask your Doctor if staying sick forever and then dying penniless, destitute, homeless and hungry is right for you. We now have 6 years old on Ritalin. God help us ! What's the answer to Big Pharma bankrupting America and Canada ? Simple. The answer is to start all our kids in Medical School in kindergarten, so by the time they get to College they will already all be Medical Doctors, with, if nothing else, sense enough to never, ever take a prescription drug that has been approved by the FDA or Health Canada.
