I was diagnosed for MS around 13 years ago and was taken Avonex for 12 of those years , I made a decision to stop it 5 months ago , not that it wasn't working it was working, but the anxiety for me taken the shot weekly , pain and side affects just got the best of me . Over the last 5 months I feel weaken and do feel the difference not being on it . I went to my neurologist yesterday , and left there very upset because he would not give me a prescription for LDN , after 13 years of being a patient of his I now feel that I don't have a neurologist any more he said there is nothing more I can do for you , and I have to start all over again. Does anyone know if you must have a neurologist a get a LDN prescription . Thanking you all in advice.
