Guest guest
You do not mention melatonin. Serotonin is what gets us up during the day, and melatonin is what puts us to sleep at night. It is a natural hormone that goes into decline with age and gets depleted with stress, and a chronic disease is stress, without a doubt. So it is not surprising that sick and old people have insomnia even before the LDN. When I started the melatonin, I took 3 mg and it did nothing. I told my nutrition doctor, who had originally suggested it (long before LDN) and she said to start with 3, and raise it 3mg each night until you wake up groggy in the morning and then back off one level. That took my husband and myself both to 12mg and we backed off to a 10mg capsule each night. It is not like a sleeping pill that will knock you out, whether you like it or not, but more just a natural relaxer that will help to maintain our sleep better through the night. Please try the natural melatonin before deciding that you cannot take LDN as it is best used. That would be my first suggestion. Best of luck, I know that a good night's sleep is the best cure for just about anything. Francie > > Does anyone else with Raynauds seen any improvement with the LDN? My seems to have gotten worst. Also, I am now noticing some burning/warm sensations in my ears, sometimes my neck. My hot flashes and interrupted sleep still has not subsided. I don't want to give up on LDN because it has helped lessen my fatigue but I am getting frustrated since I can't sleep at night when I take it. I wake up 3 times a night. When I skip it I sleep so much better. > > So should I try day time dosing again? Or continue on every other night on 3.5 mg? > >
