My OB/GYN just told me two days ago that many people have hair loss due to vitamin D deficiency...and tht 95% of us are deficient in D. She recommends taking D3 in 2000 IU per day! At least. Once I started the D, my long-bone pain left also. My hair is finally getting thicker. I will also try the zinc to ensure that helps...but I have heard too much zinc is not good.
