My last email to the group I was debating on having my IV line pulled a month early. Update... *December 14th line pulled. *A few days later my head spinning drastically became worse. *A few days after that I stopped the oral Zithromax b/c my stomach felt like it had a hole in it & I couldn't take the anymore. Was going to discuss with dr at next app't about what to do next. *A few days after stopping the zithromax my pain level and all my other symptoms drastically became worse. I was in tears with the pain. *It scared me so, I restarted the oral Zithromax right away...didn't care how bad my stomach was. *My ringing ears and twitching is back too. *Since Christmas morning I have had a nasty cold. The first four days was cold chills, sick to my stomach, headache and head cold. Nobody else in my house is/was sick. I was in bed the first four days barely able to lift my head. Still not doing too great, but able to get up and move around. My questions to you...is the increase and recurrence of symptoms a herx from the Zithromax or from going off the IV abx and I'm going backwards? Is the bug I've had since Christmas something from the Lyme or just a coincidence? I barely got through last semester at college...if I can't get this back under check I " ll have to drop out again this coming semester. Why can't I get better? It took alot of concentration to just type out this email tonight...I was so much further along a month ago...I'm so frustrated right now. Your thoughts are very appreciated.
