Guest guest
My daughter is using it, she is 6. She has autoimmune thyroiditis, currently she is hyperthyroid. She's only been on it a few months, and it hasn't changed her antibodies, but it has changed her mood! ;-) On Tue, Apr 12, 2011 at 1:37 PM, Suzanne Pell <suzannita2004@...> wrote: Has anyone used ldn for hyperthyroidism?Suzanne -- Toni------Mind like a steel trap...Rusty and illegal in 37 states. Guest guest
I started using it in May 2010 for fibromyalgia. I also have dealt with hyperthyroidism since the fall of 2005. Luckily, my doc allowed me to use supplements and dietary changes to control my hyperT. Long story short....after starting LDN last year, I had to cut back on the supplements every few days because I could " feel " thr hypo symptoms kick in. Within a couple of weeks I was at half the dosages of my " anti-thyroid " supplements. I also had to adjust the foods I was eating to keep from going hypoT. By August, my hyperT antibodies (Thyroid Stimulating Immunoglobulin -TSI) read " undetectable on my labs. By the end of December, I had to cut back again, and eventually stop my " anti-thyroid " supplements. I have experienced slight rebound hyperT symptoms each time I had to cut back, but my levels settle back down. My latest labs show my free T4 and free T3 levels happily at mid-range which seems to be my body's happy place. Hope this helps. Best wishes... Guest guest
People with thyroid problems are definitely deficient in iodine. Iodine is misunderstood by Western medicine, and it's important to get the real infomation about it: iodine/ -- taking LDN 15.5 months, iodine protocol 16.5 months. SO MUCH BETTER!
