Guest guest
Becky, that is WONDERFUL!!! I have crohn's disease, too!!! I started LDN 4.5mg prescribed by my GI on January 19th, and I feel fantastic!!! My blood-work from March 1st all came back normal - no inflammation!!! Looking forward to being scoped later this summer or early fall to compare to my last scope in mid November. I am not having any symptoms now at all, except for joint pain. January 3rd the Surgeon at the Cleveland Clinic wanted to remove my large colon, anus, and rectum with a permanent ileostomy. I had been researching LDN, and I asked him and my local GI in Indy if I could PLEASE try LDN first before resorting to major surgery, and they both said YES!!! Best wishes to you, and I hope you continue to feel nothing but fantastic!!!!! LDN has given me my life back!!!! Amy [low dose naltrexone] LDN one month Hi All!! I've been a member on the list for a little over a month now. Ever since my doctor put me on LDN for my Crohns disease. I have to say that I'm doing very good! I never had any sleep issues with it. Maybe a few strange dreams.. but not much more than usual. My Crohns issues seem much, much better. I notice I'm not getting the stomach " rushes " that I got before taking it. They were always followed by the big D. I'm not have any side effects at all except feeling really good for a change. Beck
Guest guest
, good for you, I do hope you continue to do well, keep a third eye open for yeast/candida, LDN seems to encourage that to some slight degree. We might wish to keep the virtues of LDN kinda hush, hush, else the government regulators will attempt to control and make a profit from the sales. It must be kept from the big pharma's and AMA. stay vertical, david lubbock tx-- Obama Healthcare, Remember In 2012,A liberal is someone who feels a great debt to his fellow man, which debt he proposes to pay off with your money
Guest guest
My political views are conservative, but this forum is no place to start political flames. There is no reason to keep the virtues of LDN hushed: the U.S. FDA and AMA do not directly profit from the sell of any drug. In fact, the FDA does not control how drugs are prescribed, but they only approve the drug's label (all printed information that accompanies a drug). The drug's manufacturer is not allowed to market any drug for off-label use, but the FDA recognizes that off-label use of drugs by prescribers is often appropriate and may represent the standard of practice. Off-label use means the drug is - Used for a different disease or medical condition, - Given in a different way (such as by a different route), or - Given in a different dose than in the approved label In the U.S. (and many other countries), off-label drug use is good medicine, and it's legal, ethical, and as safe as any use of pharmaceuticals. Off-label use can vary greatly from one doctor to another, and depends on the doctor's preferences, knowledge, and past patient experiences. One of the biggest problems related to widespread off-label prescribing is the lack of information about such drug use. Quite the opposite of hushing LDN, we need to better inform doctors of the benefits of LDN, so any published study that shows the benefits of LDN is good. --Greg > > , good for you, I do hope you continue to do well, keep a third eye > open for yeast/candida, LDN seems to encourage that to some slight degree. > We might wish to keep the virtues of LDN kinda hush, hush, else the > government regulators will > attempt to control and make a profit from the sales.
