Naltrexone refusal

Hi everyone,

I've suffered with Crohns for many years and tried virtually every therapy /

drug going except Naltrexone (Nalorex here in the UK ) without any degree of

success.

I've heard so many great testimonies to the effectiveness of LDN that I went to

my doctors ASAP. I took along as much supporting evidence as would seem

convincing with view to obtaining the drug Naltrexone. My doctor said she would

need to consult with the other doctors in the practise (10) before I could have

this medication. The following day my doctor rang me with a refusal, when I

asked why they said it was a collective view that it was unsuitable for my

condition. This is not correct from my perspective and the available data, but

apparently their decision is final :(

A change of doctor apparently takes along with it all my medical records and

therapy protocols.

I cannot rationalize or believe why a cheap drug, with potential therapeutic

qualities, is being denied me outright. I must therefore conclude, whether right

or wrong, that it's on a purely fiscal basis. They seem resigned to keeping me

on the mega expensive drugs cocktails and ineffective therapies indefinitely.

I'm obviously very depressed at the doctor's decisions which force me to seek

out Naltrexone outside of our health service. This is not a choice I take

lightly for I know there are copy drugs out there which could be harmful and

totally useless, but it's those of whom I trusted most who are forcing this

action. I'm clueless on where to start my search for genuine off-prescription

Naltrexone, and I would not wish to put anyone in danger by asking for such

direct help; however any hints in respect to this issue would greatly

appreciated.

In hopeful anticipation,

Respectfully yours,

in the UK
