THE CIRCULATION OF ENERGYThe unique quality of each of usirrespective of the stage of development we have reached needs to be considered carefully as it is one of great importance. This ability can be seen in our capacity to consciously and intelligently participate in the activity of the absorption and radiating out of energy.

 

All kingdoms are constantly working in this area but only the human kingdom has the opportunity of conscious response. Man has the privilege and responsibility to intelligently work with the energy of Love.

 

Without great effort we can clearly see the relationship that our physical activities have on other kingdoms. Where this has been undertaken with a very material and isolated view based upon self-interest the effect on other kingdoms leaves much to be desired. Fortunately there is an increasing awareness of the danger in this direction.

 

All life forms are dependant upon the activities of each other and in this simple statement resides the key to understanding the circulation of energy from the human kingdom to the many other kingdomsseen and unseenthat evolve with us.

 

There are many men and women who actively seek to " heal the planet " . Their endeavours include attempts to alter the distractive aspects of our social order in its often complete disregard of fellow members and towards other kingdoms where usury is the only view. Often these efforts are undertaken with violence which seems the only option but regardless of how " right " it may appear to be such activities are a mistake. Developments of changehowever slow they may appear to be must be achieved with patience and understanding and the total absence of violence.

 

Where laws need to evolve they should be approached with intelligence and awarenessnever aggression. Although it is often difficult to realisea social order is developing the conscious ability to express Love in the many differing aspects of daily life and how can this energy be achieved by the use of anger. The term " righteous anger " should never be confused with that of Universal Love.

 

There are men and women also who seek to heal the damage caused by our ignorance through the use of focused prayer and meditation attempting to raise the levels of depleted energy where they see the need. The attempts here are never for personal gain but one where the benefit of all is either sensed or understood.

 

These are just some of the examples of activities sometimes successful and at others simply confused which are undertaken to ensure the future of the human kingdom and consequently all other kingdoms. They are steps of responsibility that we all have to undertake at some time in our development.

 

Each of us need to intelligently know and respond to the energy that flows through ussurrounds usand is actively affected by our actions.

 

A most important understanding that we all need to be aware of is the connection between thought and energy.

 

In the case of man thought is a reaction to energy and produces energy. This is not a new concept as there have been countless voices that have clearly said " how you think will have a direct effect on how you live " . Thought or that which we call intelligent consciousness is man's gift and responsibility.

 

All of usdeveloping at different rates of growth and displaying qualities of energy both individual and racialare responsible for our own developments in consciousness and activities of thought. This is where the concept of the freedom of thought resides and when it is surrendered either through laziness or personal lack of responsibility and where the thoughts of others are used to replace the vacuum in consciousnessdamage occurs.

 

Here it is not difficult to see the protective nature of the intuition which ensures when used correctly that we do not surrender our personal responsibility of growth. Each of us are active expressions of the human kingdom and our individual qualities of thought and consciousness are a necessary part of its growthparticularly when this is based upon Universal Love and intelligent application.

 

We are collectively dependant upon our individual abilities and however difficult this may seem such inter-dependency applies to all peopleraces and nations.

 

Races are like people in their development having their periods of youthmaturity and old age eventually gifting to the human kingdom their overall collective achievements of conscious growth. This activity is constantly occurring but it is one which we find great difficulty in responding to with any intelligence.

 

Frequently the collective outlook of an extremely old race which comes in contact with one which is in its youth produces results that clearly indicate a total lack of awareness as to what is occurringoften damaging to both.

 

Ultimately this can result in what could be termed racial arrogance where one collective outlook is considered to be superior to all others. No nation is exempt from this damaging energy effecting intelligent consciousness but within all such groupings of people can be found men and women who work intelligently with the energy of " brotherhood " based on humanity and Love and in so doing participate in the constructive circulation of energy in the centre we call the Human Kingdom.

 

The universal energy of Love and its application is always undertaken by conscious activity and to seek and intelligently regard how other races and nations have displayed this ability would be endeavour not only of great interest but one where the knowledge gained would prove to be of significance.

 

Working with spiritual energy is an activity all races and peoples have had and it will continue it be the principal focus of our future growth.

 

In the recognition of the quality of energy developed by a race and the consequent gift to humanitythe door to an energy we have termed " racial intolerance " that has long held humanity in slavery will finally begin to be closed.

 

This is simply one example where the constrictive energy of " humanity " can be used with success against the definitely damaging one of " intolerance. "

 

Where the activities of our thoughts are based upon the energies of Lovethe human kingdom gains strength of purpose and this collective energy radiates out to all other kingdoms who benefit as Divine energy circulates.

 

In regarding us individuallythe circulation of such energy is also of great importance and a basic understanding of the form we each take is necessary to understand the process.

 

Consciousnessno matter at what level or point of developmentrequires a body of expression and for those people who are interested the number 7 is always used to represent this awareness.

 

For man our physical body composed of dense matter combined with the energy or electrical body known as the etheric body is the form our consciousness takes when it seeks expression in time and space. Within the etheric body are seven principal centres of energy which when viewed clairvoyantly can be seen as movement and colour. Clairvoyant sight is as yet still limited but can be seen developing in those men and women who are able to view the aura or radiated energy that is generated by the etheric body. The seven centres in the etheric body are reflected in the dense physical body by the seven principal glands of the endocrine system and one of the requirements of the flow of natural energy is that there is no restriction to the movement of energy between these two bodies.

 

Any over or under activity will be reflected in consciousness and results in a definite hindrance to the ability in response to all the energies that surround us. The capacity to both absorb and radiate out energy will most certainly be effected.

 

There is a great deal of extremely practical information available for the sensible development of the physical bodyranging from the practice of physical yoga to the relationship of various blood types to diet. In respect of the etheric body knowledge is relatively new to Western thoughthowever what there is presently available coming to us from developments by people in earlier periods of our history should not be ignored.

 

As with all our developmentsenthusiasm based upon limited understanding can be a disadvantage. This is often seen amongst those who seek to activate etheric centres and points of energy that appear to them to be in need of such attention. Frequently this creates damage and problems of a lasting nature. In futurework with the etheric centres will be done by those people who not only have well developed clairvoyant sight but have a clear understanding of the karmic nature and quality of consciousness of the person who is being assisted.

 

Past races have developed a great deal of understanding of the energy body of man and one method which is familiar to many is the science and application of acupuncture. Such understanding offers a worthwhile base upon which new awareness can be built.

 

However the next approach to the etheric body that will be developed in the West will be based upon the conscious control of the centres of energy. When we remember that thought produces energy it is not difficult to understand that the first place energy alterations will be seen is in the subtle responses of the etheric body.

 

Most of us have a highly and often over developed centre of energy that is in the region of the solar plexus. This centre produces the emotional and sentimental outlook in each of us and where it is overly active the needs of self dominate all thought. This generally means that the heart centre is relatively inactive and needs stimulation with energy.

 

The process is quite simple when viewed from the outlook of consciousness. By ceasing to regard ourselves as the centre of all importance and by working on the understanding of our relationship with othersperhaps even only recognising the dreams and hopes of others as being not greatly different from our ownthere is the beginning of the transference of energy from the overactive solar plexus centre of personal desire to the heart centre of inclusive awareness.

 

The same applies to the centre of energy that is reflected in our organs of reproduction. Over activity here indicates a lack of development in the throat centre. To overcome this imbalance actions of practical service based upon the energy of humanity or Love are needed. These two simple examples indicate how we can each participate in the successful movement of energy within the etheric body by conscious outlook.

 

As we become increasingly familiar with the process and develop such abilities of control that are necessary our capacity to work with and radiate out greater amounts of energy is enhanced. This results in greater energy in the etheric body being demonstrated as light.

 

But however important this may appearand it isthe greatest achievement can be seen in the increase of vibration and energy of the Divine Spark that is the seed within each of us.

 

The cause of our existence responds.
