Hi, you could get reactions if you're sure you're having an intolerance. You could also try to use lactase pills to avoid any outbreaks. People with lactose intolerance is getting increased diarrhea while using LDN.If you're having any kind of IBD, do you know that we have an own group for us with these diseases? <nichobbs@...>low dose naltrexone Sent: Thu, April 14, 2011 7:01:32 AMSubject: [low dose naltrexone] LDN and lactose Intolerance

Hi all,

I am about to start lDN tonight for the first time for Ulcerative Coltitis and CFS and have just discovered it has lactose in it. Dose anyone else take it that has lactose Intolerance? I fear it may cause me problems even though it will be such small doses what do you all think? I am willing to give it a go anyway but would love to hear comments or anyone that is in my predicament.

Cheers

Nikki - aussie.

If your LDN is by prescription is there a way you can notify your doctor and get it changed and made with some other filler? I guess you'd be out the cost of the current batch in any case. But that would be better than taking them if you're lactose intolerant, because ingesting the lactose WILL irritate your gut. I have Crohn's but am lactose intolerant, so I speak from experience.n ______________________________A funny, touching gift book for cat lovers.
