Hi,I don't have adhesions, but I do have 5 - 6 narrowed areas, probably strictures, which used to give me the symptoms you're talking about. Since the first day of using Low Dose Naltrexone, LDN, I got rid of most of my symptoms. The first day I used LDN, I woke up in the morning, and the pain was gone. I used to wake up early having pain, this pain increased during the day, and after I had dinner in the afternoon, I was having a lot of pain. I also used to be bloated, having gas problems and a lot of other symptoms. They gradually went away during the first year on LDN. A low grad fever that I've had for the last year prior to LDN has never returned.I changed my diet to feel 100 % better, first by going gluten free, I found that was not right for me,

and I have recently changed to avoiding all kind of grains / flours and sugars. This gave me big time no symptoms. From the first day I decided to avoid all grains and having almond breads (made by myself) and a few other diet changes, I am not having any of the symptoms your're talking about.It's hard to be this dedicated, but it gives me a quality of my life I haven't had in years. ;-) IngridFrom: harold z <harzyl@...>cdsicrohnssupportclub ; Colitis Crohns <colitiscrohns >;

Hi,

Does anyone have any suggestions for getting rid of/preventing gas, bloating and pain due to adhesions which surfaced after an ileostomy?

Thanks,

Harzyl
