Guest guest
I don't have an answer to your question. I don't get cold sores, but my wife does, and the only thing that's ever stopped them is grapefruit seed extract mixed with glycerine at 1 part GSE to 10 parts glycerine. Guest guest
I also have used GSE for cold sores, but didn't know about the glycerin. Also, I've taken lysine when I've had cold sores, and also if I've had great cracks in my mouth (I don't know why a person gets those, but the lysine still helped, apparently, or the placebo effect was really good <g>). They tend to close up and heal a lot faster. Laurie Lassesen
Guest guest
Hi, I've been on ldn for about a month for anxiety and depression, and also food allergies. I think it's helping quite a bit.. but for the last few days I've gotten all these cold sores. I don't usually get them though. Also have a sore throat. I read that ldn can cause this to happen while the immune sytem ramps up. Just wondering if this usually precedes an improvement in symptoms. Is it a good sign or a bad one? Thanks
