Yes sulfur is used for cattle in salt licks. You can just buy sulphur at the

feedstore and put it on your property and the ticks will run.

[ ] Recent Tick Bite AND Treated Salt Lick for Deer?

I've just gotten my 3rd tick bite this year! One was over a month ago

and it still itches a bit. Husband removed one yesterday from near my

collar bone (!) and it's itching and has a red spot about the size of

a silver dollar. I'm thinking I need to go and get antibiotics

started. Your thoughts?

Also, I remember reading a few years ago about salt licks treated with

something that would kill deer ticks. I can't find any info. when I

google it. We now have several acres and lots of deer roaming so I

would love to buy these if in fact they're on the market. Does this

sound familiar to anyhone?

TIA,

Deb

I think you should IMMEDIATELY get an evaluation by a Lyme disease specialist.
