After many years of seeing Drs I finally saw an LLMD Infectious Disease

Dr that has started to treat me for Lyme. Is being treated the same as

being diagnosed? I am on 30 days of Minocycline. I'm only 2 days into

treatment. I have many questions for you all. My biggest concern is

if I passed this to my kids. I was neg for all bands on the Western

blot by the Dr says I should still be treated because my EOS % was 14

and my clinical symptoms. The WB is only pos with the symptoms of lyme

arthritis which I don't have. He said to test the kids if they present

symptoms. The thing is if they are tested with the western blot then

it would be neg on them if it is neg on me right? Wouldn't we have the

same strand? I don't want to just put them on 30 days of antibiotics

if I don't have to. I know I was bitten by a tick in Virginia 14 years

ago and give 14 days of tetracycline because the bite was red and

swollen. After the birth of my second son three years ago is when

symptoms started like crazy. In I have had carpel tunnel, pins and

needles in my legs, constant twitching, migraines, floaters in my eyes,

vertigo, unexplained tachycardia, restless leg and my son has delayed

milestones. I'm only 30. Before he was born I also suffered a

miscarriage. Thank you for your help.
