Guest guest
Thank you so much, this is wonderful to read about your journeys. On 21 Apr 2009, at 22:47, us wrote:I think a comprehensive stool analysis by a naturopath is essential. It's helpful to understand what gut bacteria are lacking and what parasites might be present. My son really battled with yeast and after a year and half of natural supplements trying to get rid of it, we opted to put him on a 2 month course of Nystatin which has made all the difference. The yeast was causing chronic inflammation in his gut and his gut wouldn't heal with the supplements until the yeast was eradicated. I have found the following supplements to be helpful: slippery elm bark, L-glutamine, probiotics (Klaire Labs Therbiotic Complete), cod liver oil by Nordic NaturalsI also think that the book Gut And Psychology Syndrome offers good guidance for understanding Leaky Gut, what supplements are helpful, offers recipes and specific dietary instructions. Nourishing Traditions is a helpful cookbook loaded with nutritional info. The chicken bone-in broth from Gut and Psychology Syndrome really seems to be crucial for my son. I can literally see color come into his cheeks following a bowl. He's usually pasty white. He loves to eat the broth with lots of cooked chicken skin in it and I understand that animal fat (from organic meats) are also vital to healing the gut.Patience is crucial too. Even when your extended family thinks you're nuts for doing all the natural supplements and restricted diet! It's been about a year for my family but the changes in my 5 year old are remarkable. Good luck.On Apr 20, 2009, at 4:54 AM, pippacraggymail wrote:Hi everyoneWe are new to the group. My daughter, son and I all have gut dysbiosis, and would love to connect with other families who are trying to heal. It has been an incredible tricky journey, the 'usual' approach has hardly ever worked for us, and my children have been unable to tolerate even probiotics. My first question is to find out if anyone can recommend a supplement/food/drink/ approach etc that really catapulted their healing process into a new phase or was the real turning point for them in terms of healing. I know how unique we all are, but thought it was worth asking what had really worked for everyone else.thanks.Pippa=

Guest guest
I am currently trying GAPS too. I had several amazing days. Though, just got the book so found out not doing it 100 percent correct – so figure that will help even more. The book also recommends use of fermented foods and high quality probiotics. Guest guest
Dear Rita, Hello. Would you please put my name in the prayer and healing circle for my total health and well being. I’m getting a test tomorrow that will determine if there is cancer or not. I know the power of prayer and of all of the loving and caring people in Humanity Healing. Whatever you can do to put this out there I would greatly appreciate. Thank you so much! Many blessings to you and all. Iris M. Email above. PS I am a very close friend of Traci/Blaze Rainbolt and she is the one that introduced me to Humanity Healing.
