Hi,

I finally received my Igenex Lyme tests. They performed my co-infection

tests weeks ago but failed to do the Lyme tests. I tested positive for

Babesia.

IGM

Bands 23-25 and 31 were both indeterminate

Band 41 was +

IGG

Bands 31, 34 and 39 were indeterminate

Band 41 was ++ and band 58 was +

Plasma

Genomic B Burgdorferi was negative

Pasmid B Burgdorferi was negative

Serum

Genomic B Burgdorferi was negative

Pasmid B Burgdorferi was negative

What do you Lyme geniuses think of this?

Thank you for your help!

wow. well i like the look of this. i myself am only 13 but i had a similar test

situation. my IGX results were positive IGX and negative CDC. we backed it up

with a 210$ Lyme blot urine test by IGX.

IGM

undetermined is good as positive, to a LLMD. they just have to tip toe around

the other objects of life, like insurance and all.  Mine was:

31++, 41+++, 58+ and 39 ind. I was IGX + and CDC -.

opinion: there is indeed a current Lyme infection. Any LLMD may agree. I started

treatment after these test results, with no diagnosis, and waited for the urine

test results which ultimately gave me a safe diagnosis.

IGG

I believe this is a past infection that has occurred having to do with Lyme, a

long term one. You are far more + than I :

41 +++, 39 ind.

In my personal opinion, you have had Lyme a long time.

My Serum and Plasma was all negative as well.

Thanks, Elaina! I was bitten in June so I haven't had Lyme all that long.

I did get sick within three weeks of the bite. I haven't faxed these

results to my LLMD yet, my ND ran the tests before knowing I could get in to

see Dr. C so early. My original appointment wasn't until January but he had

a cancellation last week. I'm already being treated so the results don't

really matter from that perspective but I am curious as to what they really

mean.
