Regarding Channeled Material

Dear Friends:

realmsMore than ever before, many human beings are today channeling information from  other than the physical.

It is well known that “channeling†is closely linked to the existence of the Masters of the Wisdom (also known as the Planetary Guides, or the Masters of the Light, or the Group of Liberated Souls, or the Great Initiates of the Light). It is also known that, besides the Masters of the Wisdom, other kinds of beings or entities are being channeled.

This situation asks from everyone a refined and trained sense of discrimination.

This subject of channeling has, evidently, many levels and details which are almost impossible to handle in just a few paragraphs. What I am going to share with you through this letter is only a general view of the way the Masters of the Wisdom communicate with those in incarnation. More specifically, I will try to address the questions:

With whom do the Masters of the Wisdom communicate?

How do They communicate with human beings in incarnation?

The Masters of the Wisdom do communicate with the seekers of the Light, and they do this according to the status of the individual on the Path of Initiation. In other words, with those who are students of the Light, the Masters use certain ways of communication, while with those who are disciples of the Light, they use other ways.

This idea requires a clarification on the differences that are found between students and disciples — these are no more than ENERGY differences.

The students of the Masters of the Wisdom are those human beings whose connection with their Soul and Self is not well established or is minimal.

In other words, students are those human beings who are still in the process of consciously harmonizing the various bodies of their being (i.e., the physical, etheric, astral and mental bodies) with each other and with their Soul — this is a process that usually takes several life-times to be accomplished.

This energy situation makes of students non-reliable messengers of the Teachings of the Masters of the Wisdom, and as such, they are very seldom used.

Frequently, students have one or two of their inner bodies that are in harmony with their Soul, and it is through this body, or bodies, that the Master can reach a student.

Now, this does not mean that the Master will use every time a phenomenal communication with the student (such as medium channeling, or direct telepathic conversation, or automatic writing, or a vision, or a physical manifestation of the Master).

In fact, very seldom a Master will use this kind of communication with a student — the risk of stimulating egotism or self-centered tendencies is high with all those at the student level of the Path. Instead, the Master seeks to inspire a student in indirect ways, such as stimulating curiosity and interest about a book or about an organization or about a group, etc., or even by planning with the Soul of the student (before the student comes into incarnation) certain events or encounters with other human beings that may serve the same purpose.

Among all the seekers of the Light at the student level, there is a fairly large group of advanced students of the Masters who in the present have a good integration between their minds, their astral bodies and their etheric bodies. What they are still working towards is the creation of a stable and firm contact with their Soul and Self. In other words, they have a fairly good integration of their personalities but lack a firm and 100% reliable connection with their Souls.

Among this group of advanced students, there are some who in previous life-times (all the way back to the final period of Atlantis) have felt a particular attraction for astral and mental channeling. In other words, they have explored these lower psychic faculties in several life-times.

These advanced students still have today an attraction for this kind of lower psychic exploration — they still believe, consciously or unconsciously, that this kind of exploration will help them to reach the goal of the Path.

It is through this later group of students that most of the channeling material (yet not all) is reaching humanity today. In other words, there are Masters of the Wisdom who in the present are using these advanced students (with permission from their Souls) to bring forth information to humanity through automatic writing, or medium channeling, or mental channeling, or even an occasional astral vision.

What we need to understand here is that these are well-meaning individuals who hold a seed of spiritual progress and who eventually will too become disciples and Initiates of the Light. They cannot be abandoned by the Masters of the Wisdom; nor will they. In fact, for most of them today their lower-psychic tendencies are not a serious impediment for the Path as long as they balance them with a discriminating mind.

On the other hand, the present need of humanity for the Light of Truth is very great, as well as the need for discrimination. So in a sense, today these students of the Light who are “channels†are simultaneously accomplishing two objectives:

They are exhausting their particular attraction for the lower psychic faculties, as well as learning to connect within (with their Soul and Self) without having to rely on sources outside their own Soul.

They are serving as an instrument through which many human beings are being motivated to enter the spiritual path and through which many are learning to discriminate and to find the truth of their hearts. All these are noble objectives.

Thus, in spite that these students of the Wisdom with lower psychic attractions are not 100% reliable, the Masters are using them to bring forth aspects of the Teachings which are needed today. These students are helping to bring enough of the Light of Truth to help many millions find their way to the spiritual path.

I would like to suggest to all of you something regarding the situation of these students: check and you will find that the Masters are using as channels these individuals only for a short number of years. After a certain number of years (which varies from individual to individual), the Masters do discontinue their communication through their particular “channelâ€. This has the goal of weaning this individual from the attraction to the lower psychic faculties.

The disciples of the Wisdom are those individuals who already have a firm alignment and connection with their Soul and Self.

Their inner bodies, their physical bodies and their Souls are harmonized and integrated into a true functioning energy unit.These energy characteristics make of disciples much better vehicles for the transmission of the Teachings of the Wisdom.

The paradox is that, even though disciples are much more reliable messengers of the Teachings of the Wisdom, very seldom are they asked to use the lower psychic faculties (such as medium channeling or automatic writing or mental channeling) as a service to the Plan of the Light.

Instead, when needed, the Masters commune with them at the level of the Soul. Only occasionally, and when the needs of the moment of humanity require of a rapid and major assistance, do the Masters use other forms of communication with one of their disciples in incarnation. Such were, for example, the cases of H.P. Blavasky and Alice A. — the need to rapidly bring reliable information to humanity regarding the spiritual path, the Brotherhood and Sisterhood of Light and the Divine Plan was great during their time because the Brothers of the Shadows (i.e. the Dark Forces) were gaining widespread influence and momentum among the intelligentsia of humanity. There have been other cases, but I mention these two because they are well known to many.

Leaving aside the exceptions, the role of the disciples of the Masters of the Wisdom is more “personal†than that of students. All disciples accomplish a dual activity while in incarnation.

On one hand, they progressively become living examples of the ideal human being and Initiate of the Light. By doing this, not only do they inspire others to live the Teachings of the Wisdom, but they also radiate an energy of purification into the ethers of the Earth and weave an energy connection between humanity and the planetary Soul.

On the other hand, they gather, little by little, those advanced students who are nearing Initiation and who can benefit by additional aspects of the Teachings.

I have used the term “personal†for the role of disciples but this expression needs to be clarified. Disciples of the Light do not become personally involved with those that they are inspiring. What the disciples seek to do at all times is to be close to the Souls of others and be living examples of Divinity in manifestation so that these other individuals may discover the Presence of the Light within themselves.

This is a major difference with those who are still students of the Light. Students tend to get involved in each other’s personal lives, or to have opinions and judgments about each other‘s personal lives and about everything. Disciples, on the other hand, are not concerned at all with how others are behaving in their lives, nor do they tell them how to live their daily lives. The disciples’ focus is on how better to assist others to find their own Souls.

Well dear friends, I hope these succinct ideas will help you to clarify the issue of channeling — which, after all, is not the issue of whose channeling is reliable and whose is not, but the issue of learning to find the truth in one’s heart.
