Guest guest
- I 'maintain' myself re the candida by seeking to stay on the diet and doing a candida purge 2x a year. I have not had a yeast infection in my privates for about 7 years. I also have had colon hydrotherapy done - and found I had some candida in my intestines... other than that ... I am infection free... it 'can' be done. The hardest thing for me is STAYING on the diet perfectly argghhh wendy Re: Does anyone get better? Hi , I cured myself of yeast infections by douching with food grade hydrogen peroxide, NOT THE KIND IN THE BROWN BOTTLES IN THE GROCERY STORE! using a very small amount of peroxide and pure water, using this mixture 3 times a week then 2 then once, then I would use it just once a month for a maintenance. then I also stopped wearing underwear. that also helped. If you want the exact amounts to use just e-mail me and I will send them to you. dysautonomialink@... wrote: > Hi everyone, > I am fairly new here. Guest guest
I heard that putting organic yogurt in your vagina will cure yeast infections--from the book Allergy & Candida Cooking Made EAsy. Carol
Guest guest
Also, as your body changes your diet changes. I'm finding as I am starting to rotate foods that I'm getting in touch with what my BODY wants. The same diet doesn't work for everyone. Colonics have helped me a lot too!! I take them regularly... Guest guest
Have you been tested for other tick borne infections such as Babesia, Bartonella, and Ehrlichia? Sometimes when a person does not get better from Lyme it is because they have a co-infection that needs to be treated with other medication. Guest guest
I'm sorry you are feeling bad again. I know how that feels. There is hope. I was sick for over 5 years bouncing from doctor to doctor collecting possible dxes and more prescriptions than answers. I finally found a LLMD and slowly worked my way back. I was on orals for 2 years and then went off for 6 months and felt great. I had a relapse and found out I had Bart and now we are treating that. I am feeling mostly good again but have a little ways to go to beat Bart. Have you checked for coinfections? There is hope. Guest guest
You need a LLMD. I have had it for yrs and once it progresses in your body u will always have it. It may lay dormant but come out during stress. _____ From: [mailto: ] On Behalf Of piffen Sent: Monday, September 15, 2008 8:27 PM Subject: [ ] Does anyone get better? I got diagnosed more than a year ago after having symptoms for months. I was on oral high- dose doxycycline for 7 months (got better for awhile, then worse again), followed by 2 months of IV Rocephin 2 gm twice a day and 1 month of IV Rocephin plus oral doxycycline. Following this (PICC line came out late May), I was feeling really well for a few months-- finally had some energy, able to work out again, mostly pain-free, with occasional mild joint pain (I'm only 46, and never had joint pain before a 1.5 years ago with onset of Lyme). Now, though, I'm really having pain again, every day, can't sleep, and really fatigued again, with those chills and sweats that I used to get. They checked to see if I have an autoimmune disease, and those tests come back ok. So, is this Lyme again? It sure feels like it. I've been on high dose antibiotics for the better part of a year, and a few months off and it's back? Does anyone ever get better once Lyme goes throughout your body? I need some hope... Guest guest
Hi Piffen: It appears you may be one of the 40% of people who do relapse from the Lyme. You may have a co-infection or two, but because you didn't have it taken care of in the first few days of being bit, chances are you will be like me and many, many others who keep relapsing. Also, do you have any Amalgams? The mercury is bad in your system. I find that the only thing I could do was go on herbs full time, as per the recommendations of Buhner, and then get down to a maintenance dosage that would keep me feeling in the pink. That is where I am at now. About 98% or so of where I would be without chronic Lyme. The herbs work totally differently than the abx, so you can stay on them for life if necessary without any bad side effects. IF a certain herb doesn't agree with YOU, just stop it and use one that does. I had to make subtle changes over the last three years. I just got back from my 20 plus mile trip to town on my motorcycle and feel quite good. Couldn't even ride one two/trhee years ago. Now I will change clothes and go outside and work for about 5 hours. Then come in and watch some tv. Then maybe back out in the garage for a couple more hours or so. Couldn't do any of that two years ago either. NOW my arthritis that I had BEFORE Lyme disease is much better too. And IF I had a good " food " diet, I think I would be even better. SO yes, there IS hope, IF you follow the right protocol for YOU! Not always easy getting there though. Hope you find it. Remember that abx KILLS bacteria, good AND bad. Herbs don't do that as a rule, but rather help to build up your own immune system and then it can fight off the bad stuff. Leaving you with a compatible system that can live together. Take care, Jim ### > > I got diagnosed more than a year ago after having symptoms for months. Guest guest
There is hope! I was diagnosed 4 months ago after 18 months of being treated for Polymyalgia Rheumatica (a form of muscular pain akin to Fibromyalgia..but not the same). I found out a long time ago that having any illness requires us to really focus on our life styles and follow a strong nutritional supplement plan, have your thyroid and adrenals checked for hormone balance and eat very well with lots of good meats (B12) is critical. My Lyme critters have taken root to effect my Thyroid and adrenals. Ask your doctor for the proper testing that includes T3, T4 levels, antibodies to T3 T4. Also, do a 24 hour urine test for hormones. My suffering & energy levels drastical improved when I started taking Armour for Thyroid, hormone balanced cream and Transfer Factor to boost immune. I had no DHEA or B12. My doctors put me on 8 weeks of oral antibiotics than Artimesia for one month, then Cat's Claw 2 x per day for another month. I get my CD57 levels re-checked every 8 weeks to make sure I'm on the right path. Now I can exercise, travel, clean house, play with my 6-yr old triplet grandchildren while healing. I know my limits and know when not to overload myself. Yes, there is hope so find a Doctor of Osteopathy to help. Hang in there! > > I got diagnosed more than a year ago after having symptoms for months. Guest guest
Hi Jim, Can I ask what kinds of herbs you use? Also do you think herbs alone would help someone with state 3 lyme, mcs, cfs, fm,cfs im even sensitive to emfs? christie [ ] Re: Does anyone get better?
