Guest guest
In 2004, my environmental medicine physician in Californnia diagnosed me with lyme. He treated me with silver, herbs and homeopathics and warned me that antibiotics cannot eradicate the cyst form. I was asymptomatic until I was bit a second time this July. Not knowing that I was reinfected with lyme, I took zithromax and doxyclycline. Side effects caused me to discontinue them. Now that I know I was reinfected with lyme, I increased my herbs and added a few new herbs. However, I am still suffering. I am considering bacillin injections or rocephin injections or IV with tindamax to penetrate the cyst wall. My new LLMD says rocephin injections are more painful than bacillin injections. He refused to prescribe tindamax and instead prescribed alinia. He knows a MD who is treating lyme with alinia and hypobaric oxygen. I asked if any of that doctor's patients had a negative lyme follow up test. My LLMD didn't know. My LLMD prescribed a bacillin injection in each hip weekly for four weeks along with 500 mg of alinia twice a day for one week. Alinia is known as daxon in Mexico. Alinia is VERY cheap in Mexico. I could replace my stolen passport and buy alinia. However, my naturopath says the prescriptions for bacillin and alinia are inadequate. Three to four months of bacillin is necessary. 1000 mg alinia twice a day for two weeks is necessary to eradicate babesia but won't eradicate lyme. I don't have babesia duncani nor babesia microti. Does alinia penetrate the cyst wall? My naturopath says I need tindamax with bacillin or rocephin. However, my naturopath can't prescribe them to me because I am out of state. What is the protocol for bacillin? Rocephin? Tindamax? Part of me wants to take only tindamax as I believe my Soquel environmental medicine physician that antibiotics won't eradicate chronic lyme. Part of me wants to conduct more research first. This year, added the polling feature. I would like to conduct a poll. Has anyone been on bacillin or rocephine AND alinia or tindamax and subsequently had a negative follow up lyme urine test by IgeneX or a negative Labcorp CD57 or a negative lyme PCR test or a negative ELISA test? How do we set up polling? Thank you.
Guest guest
For what it's worth, my LLMD says that Diflucan can soften the cysts, and Flagyl can often knock them out f you take a 4-6 month course.
