GREAT idea !!

Good info to pass along!

Cleaning for a Reason

-

If you know any woman currently

undergoing Chemo, please pass

the word to her that there is a cleaning service that provides FREE

housecleaning - 1 time per month for 4 months while she is in treatment.

All she has to do is sign up and have her doctor fax a note confirming

the treatment.

Cleaning for a Reason will have a

participating maid service in her zip code area

arrange for the service.   http://www.cleaningforareason.org

Be blessed..

Hi Sandy,

I would probably be so thankful for their service I would tip them. Haven't

heard anything yet. I will let you know when I do.

God Bless,

Jackie S.

Hi Jackie.

My thoughts are that the person Robyn was assigned might be hinting for a tip or

gift. I would think that most wouldn't. If I were you, I would try to get the

help. Whoever will clean for you is doing it probably as a volunteer with the

purpose of helping others.and I do not feel that you are obligated to tip or

give a gift. I put it out there because I pondered the thought. I forgot who

said that he used the service and was pleased.I was hoping that he would see the

post and respond to the question that I had.

Best of luck to you.

Sandy

The lady came with her husband and told Robyn that she doesn't get compensated

for doing the cleaning. She does it because she wants to. She said that she has

a full time job as a Police Sergeant at a college. Her husband added that they

hope that when the 4 months are up Robyn might consider hiring her. I know that

one of you responded that he had the cleaning and was pleased.

Hi Jackie and everyone else. The lady assigned to Robyn will be there this

coming Sat. She told Robyn that she will spend 3 or 4 hours cleaning. She

will be there at 1:00 in the afternoon because she has an appt. to clean another

lady's home in the morning. If you applied and didn't hear from

Cleaningforareason, reapply again. That is what Robyn kept doing. In any

case, I will e-mail you either late Sunday or Monday and let everyone know how

it worked out.

Jackie, good luck to you. My thoughts and prayers will be with you for an easy

and successful BMT.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Lottie, too. I pray that Lottie is able to

participate in the Ariad Trial for which I have a strong feeling that she will

succeed with the drug.

Hearts and Hugs
