Guest guest
My mother has been on the LDN now for over two months and has been having some of the worst pain she's ever had. She's taking it for Hashimoto's and Rheumatoid Arthritis. She successfully weaned of Voltarin (Diclofenic) and we were hoping that the LDN would help. We haven't seen anything positive yet from the LDN. She began at 1.5 as suggested and I've encouraged her to move up to 2.0 Her back is giving her incredible pain - she had back surgery in 2006 and it's not been the same since. Can anyone give encouragement or explain why she isn't feeling better. I really don't want her to go back on an NSAID - she was on the Voltaren for 15 years and it wasn't working so well anymore anyway. But she wasn't in this type of pain all the time. She's on GAPS so her diet is good. Did I ill-advise her to go on the LDN? We have no support from her doctor. He simply ordered the LDN for her (because we asked) without any further recommendations or guidelines. I've been the one researching and discovered the correct dose for her to start with. When should she move up in dosage? How frequently? It is so upsetting when I thought she'd be much better by now and she sometimes can barely move because of the pain.
