Guest guest
Hello, I dont know if I have Lyme or not. I have spent most of my life with symptoms of intermittent tachycardia, arrythmias, PVCs, was hyper thyroid at times and then now alternate daily between hyper and hypo...have been treated for depression, anxiety, cyclothymia, dysphasia, anemia, hormone imbalance and a great number of others that I just cant think of. My main complaints have been confusion, fogginess, my kids call me Dory from Finding nemo...muscle cramps, " shocks " throughout my body like someone stuck me with a needle...intermittent blurry vision, eye pain, ear pain, trouble swallowing, sore throat, bouts of hair falling out and then regrowth, weightloss and then weight gain (50+lbs) followed by weightloss (50+) over a few months...dry skin, bumps on the skin(red raised, allergies, hives/rashes, tmj, headaches, irregular menstruation, swollen tongue, joint aches, swelling all over mostly hands feet legs and face, irregular BP despite medication and heart rate rarely goes below 100 these days but can get as high as 160 doing NOTHING!, I take loads of meds and supplements. My Vit D was only 9..and my ferritin was 46, the HCT 3 among others like Thyroid labs (T3 and RT3 are always out of wack on the high side) I have recently had an MRI and ultrasound of my kidneys and adrenal glands due to adrenal insufficiency and extremely high catecholamines and metanephrines. All they found so far was a cyst on my kidney... I am exhausted most of the time and with any exertion the exhaustion lasts for hours depending on what I tried to do. I cannot tolerate the heat at all and prefer the cold but not real cold because I get theshivers and cannot get warm my body shakes like its in shock. I do not sweat except around my hairline. This has been going on real bad for 5 years. I had a bout of it when I was 16-21 (having kids) then again when I was 25-30 and now again when I was 32 or 33 till now...I just turned 39. I feel like a very old person sometimes. Everything has been blamed on my lifestyle due to stress...which caused the adrenals to slow, which caused the thyroid to act up which caused my adrenals to get worse which causes my thyroid to be silly more....make any sense????Anyway...I have a few docs who listen to me but they are baffled...I live in Cabot Arkansas and work in Little Rock. I really need someone in this area that knows what lyme is and what to look for....Im tired of being tired. Tired of spending my money...I have to work to pay medical and have to pay medical to work....doesnt make any sense but I could not live on what SSD would give me. My hubby had a kidney transplant due to diabetes and epstein barr causing probs...SSD dont pay much at all and the are very picky about who, what and when they will pay.... I am sorry to meet all of you here under the circumstances that brought you here. maybe with all the legal issues going on...something will change soon...... Dona Barry....
