SIGN ON TO LETTER TO CDC

Hi Fellow Lyme Patients!

I have written a letter to CDC's Dr. Lyle sen. I received a letter from

him earlier this year. My letter is dated October 19, 2006, but I will be

mailing it next Wednesday, October 25, 2006.

I am giving everyone the chance to sign on to this letter. By mailing it next

Wednesday, it gives you 6 days to sign on.

For years the CDC has received many, many phone calls and letters from

patients. Individually, our letters and calls are answered with repititious

pacifying language that serves to quiet us. They fail to address the important

issues.

TOGETHER, we can demand that they respond appropriately to our problems. This

letter is quite strong and confronts the CDC and IDSA Treatment Guidelines on a

number of pertinent issues. It is strong, yet professional.

Personally, I do not believe that timidly and politely asking for help is

going to get us anywhere. I do believe that the squeaky wheel gets the grease,

and we need to start squeakin'! I am NOT worried about gaining THEIR respect;

what I want is for them to HEAR what we are saying and the fact that we are

SUFFERING WITHOUT ANY HELP! They won't know this until we start squeaking in

their faces really, really loud!

So, I have attached the letter for you to read and print out. This is the

final letter; no changes will be made. I hope you will join me and sign on to
