Guest guest
I live in Southern California and experienced my first severe Herx reaction this week, which wound me up in the emergemcy room By the time I got there, I was severely dehydraded, catanonic and herxing every 30 to 40 minutes. My doc also said I was having geigchers, or something like that. it was absolute hell and I wasn't sure that I woild survive it. The hospital (Hoag In Orange county California) doesn't see many lyme paitents, and the probagly thought I was faking it. Anwyay, they hydraded me and tried to make me as comfortable as possible. Eventually, like about 7 hours later, it started getting better. Personally, I thought I was goign to die. I'm here to tell you that I didn't, but it totally upsets me, even more so now, that some doctors say this doesn't exist. Wait until they or a family member get it. They will change their tune. Anyway, if anyne has encouragement for a newbie who is insure she'll make it all the way to the end. My last question is this: How the heck can someone possibly work with this disease? I kept my husband home for the worst two days, to take care of me, but I have to go bak to work some day and I'm really worried. Thank you Thanks for any informative works.
