Small intestine flareup, Maalox vs. Betaine HCI.

I am having a small intestine flare-up. Inflammation, distention. My dilemma is

that, in the past, Maalox has helped with this problem, but confused by the fact

that I also need Betaine HCI. I am not yet started LDN due to fact that I am not

in the states right now. My doctor put me on anti-inflammatory, Pentasa. It has

only been two days and I have had very little, temporary relief. My small

intestine is so swollen that I cannot eat. I only take Maalox when absolutely

necessary.
