Twice daily vs. three times daily dose amoxicillin....thoughts please (please)

My son is four and has been taking amoxicillin twice a day for a lyme

rash. We're well into the dosing and I realized last night that most

sites are mentioning dosing three times per day.

I talked to the doctor who told me that amoxicillin studies show it

works just as well twice vs. three times and with fewer side effects.

He said to trust him.....

I would really like thoughts or experiences. Should I be concerned?
