Guest guest
Hello Everyone, Been muddling along taking LDN since last June, and working with the Medical Intuitive dealing with the MS in my system; sometimes up sometimes down. I haven't been here for a while, but today spoke with a friend, who has been living with Lyme disease for a long time. As myself, she deviates from the norm utilizing only allopathic medicine to treat health challenges; and prefers alternatives. I wasn't sure, but told her about LDN as well as the lady I'm working with. My question is, has anyone on this list tried/used LDN for Lyme? How has it been for you and has it made a difference in your life? Despite how good or bad I'm doing in my own lifespace, it is always important for me to share information that I know of; that could possibly help another person. I'm hoping that I have not steered her in the wrong direction, as she is hurting and I only want to help her. I would appreciate any and all comments about this. As far as I know, Lyme falls under the category of autoimmune doesn't it? Thank you everyone and have a safe and good day. LinJ
Guest guest
It is my belief that MS is Lyme. Lyme causes it.....along with a multitude of other potential autoimmune illnesses such as ALS, Parkinson's, Chrone's, and Alzheimer's all depending on where the bacteria sets up shop. I was dx'd with RRMS in feb of '08 then Chronic Neurological Borelliosis (Lyme) in Sept '09 after a 100% positive IgM and 75% positive IgG from IGENEX. I highly encourage you and her both to seek care of a LLMD (Lyme Literate Medical Doctor) to get proper testing and treatment. I have been taking LDN for about 2 years now. I do not necessarily " feel better " symptom wise. But it certainly has bettered my emotional outlook. Extra endorphins for the day never hurt anyone. I'm sure that it does up regulate my immune system and helps me fight the fight better than I could if I wasn't taking it. I don't think that LDN is a magic bullet.....but it is certainly a useful tool in the toolbox for fighting an autoimmune illness. Hope that helps. - KenC. > > Hello Everyone, > > Been muddling along taking LDN since last June, and working with the Medical Intuitive dealing with the MS in my system; sometimes up sometimes down.
