I would say they are resisting the med and are not responding. You will most

likely need a change. You have to rotate or they get use to the med.

Subject: [ ] antibiotics backfiring

I've been on antibiotics for approximately one year and I'm currently taking

1,500 mg of tetracycline daily. For about a week now my old symptoms (pre

antibiotic)along with their severity have been coming back and some new ones

are being added. Is this common? Do I need a different type of medication?

I'm from Alaska and will be flying to Boston tomorrow to see my family. I

will also see my Lyme doctor on December 10. I'm scared (live alone) and

need some insight into what is currently going on. Any information/advice is

appreciated.

Ingrid
