Guest guest
Joyce, I am not a physician but, from all my reading and research....LDN should be taken at night between 9PM - 12PM. The body's normal endorphin production occurs between the hours of 1AM - 6AM. The whole purpose of LDN is to temporarily block the opiate receptors in your brain during the endorphin production. This tricks your body into thinking it needs MORE endorphins so more are produced and you end up with more for the next day. If you take LDN during the day, you aren't going to be creating more endorphins. You are only blocking receptors for endorphins that have already been created. I know there is about a 2 week period of adjustment in your sleep routine if you take it at night, but you have to just push through that. It will get better. Per Dr. Bihari's protocol, night time dosing is the recommended way to go. Hope that helps. - KenC. > > When I first started on ldn I could not sleep well so I started at 1.5 in the AM daily. Then I was able to raise it to 3mg daily in the morning. The only problem I am having is brain fog now and I am sleeping like a baby which is good but the brain fog is not. Maybe I should jump to 4.5 mg and see if I am more alert. joyce >
