When Western Medicine falls short

In reading over the e-mails that have arrived from I have noticed a

lot of frustration with the inability of Western medical doctors to diagnois

Lyme accurately....much less find a cure. I also have Lyme and have been that

route.

I know that this Lyme Aid is mostly focused on using Western technology....but I

thought I would mention an alternative.

I am of Native American descent, from the Seneca tribe to be specific. I am

also trained as a yoga meditation teacher. In both traditions there are

alternative ways of self diagnoising an illness and even getting suggestions for

cures using dreams. Most will ridicule or belittle this approach, but like

other Native American and non-traditional approaches it has some merit.

I won't bore the entire group with the details.....but if anyone has an interest

in exploring this write back and I can fill in the details.
