Tooth Pulled!

Hi,

Thanks to all of you who kindly responded to me when I was in so much pain with

an

infected molar. It's been 2 days since the " big pull " and I'm still on 500 mgs

of amox 3

times per day, but the pain is receding and I can feel the infection leaving my

body. There

was, indeed, a lot of infection.

I got really lucky with a referral to a very good dentist, who pulled the molar

on Friday

morning. He was very thorough and gentle and I discovered that his wife is an

acupuncturist, so he was of a more natural mindset regarding dentistry. And they

were (for

Florida) aware of Lyme disease!

The good news (other than the relief) is that this clinic was started by a

dentist who retired

a few years ago due to a disability. Yet, he found a way to start a foundation

to open a

clinic by using a dentist's office that is closed one day a week and getting

dentists to

volunteer their time. The fees are very very low, so that folks on disability

like me can find

a way to keep their teeth in good shape.

I'm going back in January for a full exam, cleaning and consultation. I have

prayed to find

a place like this and here it is!

I thought those of you with similar dental issues due to Lyme and the high cost

of this

disease on our teeth and our pocketbooks would want to know that all turned out

well,

and that if more dentists started innovative socially conscious clinics like

this we'd all be

better off.

Blessings and Thanks,

Hannah Jen
