Tina you are just getting to see the tip of the iceberg.  At your stage I would

say to listen well first and then try what your intuition indicate and observe

the results, making good note of them for future reference.  Bodies are very

similar in their proceesing of food and toxins but there is non that is

exactly the same. It is an experiment for most of us who have tried over the

years.

Bowel cleansing is an adventure of discovering yourself in many ways.

hey all,

i have a question thats kinda basic but i think its best to ask anyway - hope

its ok...

i joined this group recently and have been readin some messages sent to the

group on cleansing activities that i know nothing about and never heard about,

so i wonder if this is  the good group 4 me, and are there other group that

would b better 4 me ... im in my 20s and have been gettin enemas which i

thought

would b what a group with this topic was about, but it seems like its a bigger

topic than i realized! actually the details of the posts and replies were

amazing - i didnt realize it was such a complicated topic!

i was interested in comparing my experiences with others but this group might b

more than im lookin 4.  im cool about lookin in other groups if there are ones

that are more focused on my experiences. just thought it was best 2 ask. thanks

for all honest replies!

For

the benefit of those that have been given the opportunity. There is a lot

of research and comparison with the non-invasive use of

" fibersure " . Don would be able to direct us all to his library;

but, from what my little mind remembers, this is a method of telling the Drs.

what level of damage has been done to the liver as well. However, it's

use is still not very widely accepted yet.

I don't imagine that a whole lot of us would want to be guinea pigs for a whole

lot of testing with both methods.

Teri,

I'm not on tx yet. I see my gastro Sept. 9th being that my surgeon who did

the gallbladder faxed my gastro biopsy results that he did while in there for

the gallbladder. I am pretty positive he will recommend it. I'll find out

when I see him.

I've been keeping a list of new things I've been experiencing. At times my

liver feels hard. Like this afternoon and my daughter was pressing in on it

and hit a very tender place but that might have been right around the

gallbladder incisions. It still hurts now and then from that.

My pregnant daughter is still pregnant...Don. ..send some of your energy and

healing powers for baby Killian and so he stays put till after this

coming Sun. that's the baby shower. I finished the quilt today just need to

wash and iron it. I will get it posted here when I have that done and

remember to get the picture before the lighting is too dim.

Not true. A non-invasive test called FibroScan can tell what Stage the liver

damage is. It is very accurate at both extremes--Stage 1 and Stage 4, but less

accurate in Stages 2 and 3. Sometimes the damage is so extensive that a biopsy

is dangerous. I'll see if I can find an article on Fibroscan and post it or

maybe Don has it already in the files.

I am not talking about the scan, there is blood test called fibrosure that tells how much fibroses you have.

Fibersure ( close, huh?) is a fiber supplement- tasteless powder to add to food or drink. I often have to put 1/4 tsp in my Corgi-mix dog's food.... • 1 month later...

enemas are not the best way to clease your bowels. It can be habit forming.

However, should you choose to use enemas, www.gerson.org suggest that you have

coffee enemas which will not only clease your bowels but also help to detoxify

your liver.  The only problem is  that when you use coffee it needs to be

organic and use distilled water. The enemas need to be done three times per day

for a period of two week about every six months. Good cleaning to you.

Hi Mickey,

Can you please share the source of the information on which you base the

statement that enemas are not the best way to cleanse the bowels and that they

can be habit forming?

Thanks,

I was wondering if anyone here knew a very proven natural method of getting rid of strep? I know strep left untreated can cause a ton of problems and I did take my son in (just to shut my mom the RN up!) Needless to say I have antibiotics waiting for me for all 3 kids and since my kids are young and never really get sick I really don't wanna give them antibiotics.

When my 17 year old was young, she could not take antibiotics (she still has not

taken any since she had a bad yeast result at 6 months of age) I gave her raw

garlic mixed with honey one spoonfull every 3 -4 hours, Vit C 250mg every hour,

and one droperfull of Echinecea tincture every 3-4 hours (I made my own cuz it

is stronger, but you can also buy it) I gave her three days to get better or go

to our family doctor! It worked!! the pustules were gone, she wreaked of

garlic, but I was estatic!!

This regime has kept my family and I healthy - but you have to find what works

longer work due to the severe cervical and lumber degeneration, spinal

stenosis,

severe radiculapathy in right arm, etc. I am on pain meds that barely

control

the pain.

My question is can social security demand that I have surgery if the neuro

surgeon

suggests that I have it? If I don't want surgery can social security

terminate me

because I refuse it? I've heard too many horror stories about spinal

surgery.

My ex had lumbar surgery and now has no feeling at all in his left leg.

I am terrified of spinal surgery.

Thanks for the responses about surgery.

I'm just afraid that if I say no to surgery then social

security will say that I am not trying to get better

and discontinue my disability benefits. I guess

time will tell.
