Guest guest
Hello, My name is Ingrid and I was diagnosed with Lyme November 2007. I live in Alaska but I'm originally from Andover, MA. I could not get a diagnosis for my illness in AK so I had to fly to the eastcoast for medical treatment. My diagnosis came from the lyme test at Igenex Labs. My sister has Lyme, a does my mom and two nephews. It was my sister who basically diagnosed me from my symptoms and told me about the Igenex test. The doctors in AK. diagnosed me with anxiety disorders and told me the symptoms were in my head. I saw Dr. Sam Donta in Boston last December and I'm currently under his care. I'm taking tetracycline (1000 mg per day) and I most definitely feel better. I remember being bit by a tick as a teen and getting very sick, however, I received no treatment and the bacteria must have went dormant until I was 41 and then it reemerged. I'm just looking to find out more about this condition and information about how to better manage it. Thanks, Ingrid
