I appreciate everyone e-mailing and giving me there information.

This is my results.

I received my test results back and they were negative for the and western

blot.

My doctor says the reason for my " herxing " while on the antibiotics is:

1. I may have had a virus when I started the abx. Just a coincidence that I got

sick.

2. I may be allergic to the antibiotics. Her favorite choice.

3. Implied that it was in my head since I was " sure " I had Lyme that I made

myself ill.

So if a person IS allergic to Minocycline, does that mean all cycline

antibiotics are off limits such as tetracycline and doxycycline? I need to ask

her this.

All I can say is that I am starting to feel better after being a week off the

antibiotics. I was MISERABLE with head ache that wouldn't go away, body and

muscle soreness that was as if I had a MAJOR work out and really over did it.

Tired and fatigue. I could barely function.

Anyway, that is my experience thus far. I may not have Lyme BUT my horse did!

I have my name to get in with a LLMD in April as she is booked up.

Is there any " mild but reactive " antibiotics that I might talk my MD into trying

to " test " my herxing? Also, has anyone had a similar " allergic reaction to

abx " ? Curious if you really were or how you tested for that.
