Guest guest
Dr. Gilhooly is of course correct when he says that as long as we start at a low dose, and increases gradually, we will find our level when we feel the best. And we can always reduce the dose if we don't feel well. Just go slow, and you'll have less side effects due to sleep disturbances, which often occurs the first week on LDN. The smaller gap between the increased doses the fewer side effects, I would dare to say. Per instructions I got from Dr. Gilhooly, I raised LDN by .50 every few weeks. He said I could go as high as 12 mg (even twice a day if I wanted to try that).I got up to 6 mg and felt exhausted both mentally and physically the following days, just like he described! He hit the nail on the head - I was so exhausted all I could do was lie on the couch. I couldn't even work.So I dropped back down to 5.5 mg, and I still felt mostly exhausted mentally and physically.2 days after dropping down to 5.0 mg, I woke up feeling great! Fresh, energetic, pain free and mentally sharp. I did more activity than usual, and have remained at that level every day since then.I'm at 5.0 mg of LDN and will stay there as long as I feel this way.:)d------------------------------------
