Guest guest
I'm new here and have had trouble finding info on potentially long-term undiagnosed lyme. I lived near a wooded area as a kid and played there (unknown to my parents) all the time. My mom picked several ticks off of me as a kid. I was wondering if it's possible to have Lyme for several years with it being undetected? If so, does anyone know what's the best protocol for testing? I understand false negatives are common. Here's a little background info: I'm 39 now and my tick exposure was a little over 30 years ago. I've had fatigue problems since childhood and even saw doctors about it as I would fall asleep at 10 years old while writing my homework. Within the past 1-2 years I've developed tremors, dizziness and most recently have suspected a seizure which ended in an auto accident. Also, the fatigue experienced as a child has changed in nature. It now comes on suddenly and is so strong I feel like I'll pass out if I don't rest immediately. Thanks in advance for any info or sources of info you could offer!
